Critical success is hardly worth anything to publishers, they look for financial success. Federation Force sold abysmally, as I expect Survive to for similar reasons. Regardless of the game's quality, they're trying to sell it based on the name on the box art with fundamentally no tangible relation to said name, having only surface-level relation by way of having the same engine and setting as MGSV. And to top it off: they're trying to sell a Metal Gear game so soon after they showed tremendous disrespect to an icon whose reputation is inherently linked with Metal Gear. In the Metal Gear community, Konami is recognized as antagonists.
