People complain about how it doesn't feel like Star Trek, but having never watched a Star Trek series before, that means nothing to me and I'm able to enjoy it for what it is.

First two episodes are kinda meh, but the next three have been good.

It's been slightly above average, but if you want the Trek feel, this is way more Wars than Trek.

Also people will tell you that if you have the itch for that Star Trek "feel", then you should watch The Orville instead.

Premiere was bad, but everything since then has been quite good. Best opening few episodes since the original series I think.

It feels nothing like the old Star Treks, if you're wondering. It's an unrelated space adventure show with a main character whom most people seem to dislike, though I've seen plenty of exceptions.

The overall concept is cool but imo the acting is pretty bad for the most part.
