I played the demo for 4 and got through like two and a half dungeons of Persona Q. Just doesn't have the kind of gameplay that can hold my attention for long.

Breath of the Wild is an all-timer, Cuphead is a delight, and I'm looking forward to playing Pyre, Night in the Woods, and DRV3 at some point

I still have Monster Hunter Stories, Pokemon US/UM, maybe Yokai Watch 2, and maybe a few older games I never got around to like Dragon Ball Fusions or Kirby Planet Robobot.

But yes, two screens are better than one. :(

I have a copy in the house now, but....Breath of the Wild doesn't seem like my type of game. I don't enjoy open worlds that much, the bigger the landmass the less I can really care. Exploration is not for me.

You guys seriously need to play Divinity: Original Sin II. Not my GOTY but that game needs more attention. Easily in the top three of the year so far.

It has the huge disadvantage of being a sequel to a game not many people played. Also don't think my computer's quite good enough to play it...

It's one of the best reviewed games this year and is closing in on a million in sales. It's doing fine! I've loved what I've played of it but I want to finish P5 before I go deep into it.

Sure. But even in general, the number of people who have played a Zelda game dwarfs the number of people who have played a Divinity game.

Right, but 'sequel to a game not many people played could easily describe Persona' as well, and that's currently beating Zelda. Divinity: Original Sin outsold any Persona game before 5, and Original Sin 2 will likely go on to outsell Persona 5.

Do those sales mean that much though? I feel like the majority of Steam games that people buy go unplayed.

I think that argument would hold more water if the second game didn't have a successful Kickstarter and launch to immediate success. We also have more detailed info about Steam games. ~60% of all people who bought Original Sin 1 played it, and averaged ~30 hours of game time. I don't think that's too far off console numbers.

I've never seen even a screenshot of Original Sin and have never met a human being IRL who owned or even mentioned it.

Therefore it is kind of hard for me to judge it's supposed popularity.

I have made several topics about it in the last month, as has thundersheep. The game has been in the top 10 most played on Steam for the last month. It's sold 800k on Steam since release and a not insignificant number on GOG. It's tied for the second best reviewed 2017 game on OpenCritic.

Fire Emblem Heroes is very, very easily the obvious #1 for me.

2nd goes to either Divinity: Original Sin 2, or FFXIV:Stormblood if expansions count.

I honestly don't have any plans to play most of the games in this poll; I guess I'll probably end up being roped into Destiny 2, when it actually gets released....
