Pretty easily my least favorite.

When I watched the person I was watching with made me skip Frank's Brother because of how bad it was. I watched it for the first time just a couple weeks back and thought it wasn't THAT bad.

Something about the show's formula makes it impossible to be bad. I'm only mid season 2 but I watched some season 9+ episodes and it blew my mind how EXACTLY the same it was. They really didn't change the formula at all, except for adding Frank. Although there are way too many Mac is gay jokes later on.

I was watching that for the first time in an airport lounge last year and people were looking at me weird because I was laughing so hard. I couldn't control myself. One of the funniest things I've ever seen on tv.

Favourite episode is, weirdly, the gang gets trapped. Though there's a couple of dozen I could easily put in that category, including most recently hero or hate crime.

it's so consistent because it's centered around banter

the characters have intensely strong characterization, and you can just plop them into any scene and watch/imagine them bounce off of each other

and the characters are silly enough that no stretching is required in order justify any plotline- they're all dumb, they're all inconsiderate, all can have a sudden and intense interest in any random subject and it fits

The only episode I actively dislike is The Gang Gets Racist. Only because it was so cringe it temporarily stopped me from watching the rest of the series. Looking back on the episode it wasn't as bad as I remember

I do like how this show presents highly cringy scenarios without them actually feeling cringy or painful to watch, unlike shows like The Office or Curb.

There is definitely some noticeable flanderization, but it's never felt like it lost the spirit of the show and the more exaggerated personalities work most of the time anyway

It does start referencing old stuff a lot as it goes on rather than making up new stuff which I guess is a shame. I know pretty much every long-running comedy seems to do that but I guess I hold Sunny to a very high standard

I just love Dennis getting progressively more irate, like when they say the guy is going to kill Leno and he's like "these are the ramblings of LUNATICS" or something like that. Delivery is always so perfect.
