In the purest anthropological sense, alpha males do exist. In the modern social climate it can refer to people with a Type A personality, even though it's not apropos.

alpha males exist, and only one part on which some people believe defines them bugs me. and thats how much sex they've had. sure sex is great I can admit to that as I have had it. but its far from being important to life in any way shape or form other than having a kid. I still laugh thinking of my friends arguing over who had more sex when we where younger they started breaking it down where one tried saying condoms didn't count as your dick didn't technically touch a vagina also oral didn't count, one told another gay sex didn't count as sex because you could only have sex with women etc. lol and in the end it just boiled down to them being biased due to their own experiences just so they could argue they had the most sex.
