I use an electric shaver then go in with a disposable razor afterwards because the shaver doesn't give a clean enough shave and I don't like going straight in with a razor. Plus I've been told it makes me look distinguished. I let it grow for four weeks and then trimmed it properly. Now I try to trim it every week or two just to make sure it's properly groomed. Honestly, most places don't even notice you have facial hair if you trim it properly (shave the neck, trim the sides, etc).
