Bonus Final Fantasy VII tee shirt that some stores gave out for the pre order? Do you still have it?
I have it, but it is deep in a closet so I don't know what kind of condition it is in.

I bought my original copy from a friend who I later found out (years later) "borrowed" from our other friend. Therefore mine did not come with a Tshirt.

Yes. It was literally the only reason I pre-ordered the game (from K-B Toys).

I also had the chocobo key-chain fob that came with it, which I used as my key-chain until it eventually broke. I MIGHT still have the chocobo itself somewhere, but if so I have no idea where.

Nope. I actually used to wear the shirt on the regular, so it wound up wearing out and getting thrown away at some point.

Even if it hadn't, it would probably be too small for me now.

I have a .hack t-shirt that came as a bonus that I've never worn and still keep in my closet, right next to an old Depeche Mode concert T that I never wore, and both are still in good condition.

Assuming you don't constantly move the contents of your closet around and don't have a ton of moths or anything, stuff in your closet should be fine even for years/decades.

If I remember correctly, it had Cloud in profile with the Buster Sword sort of drawn and held over his shoulder, with Midgar in the background and the logo.

I don't have any pictures of it, but I'll try to trawl the Interwebs for a bit to see if I can find it somewhere.

EDIT: Found this, though I'm pretty sure this isn't the exact version of the shirt I'm thinking of:

EDIT 2: I think that is the same shirt, actually. I think I was confusing it with the game art in my head:

I remember stores like service merchandise doing preorders, but not pre-order merchandise from the publishers existing.

I got a pre order at Kay Bee toy store. Of course it didn't arrive till the day after it was supposed to come. September 7th of that year was the day for it, but it never showed up that day. I got something like a 10$ coupon for it being late. (Twice) One from the store and another from their headquarters. (I had sent a letter (e-mail maybe) to them about it being late. I was really mad, I almost never send letters of complaint.)

I don't remember that being available in my area and I never saw anyone wearing them...
The earliest special edition/collectors pack I ever saw was the silver MGS box with the tshirt and dogtags etc. I picked that up in a hurry, the shirt was cool looking but some weird super wide one-size-fits-all shape and fit like a tent.

The one I was referencing was from The Singles Tour.

I also have one from the Tour of the Universe (which, along with the unopened program, has been in the bag it came in ever since - maybe I should take it out at some point), but I'd actually forgotten about that one when I was writing that first post.

I think I MIGHT have one from Touring the Angel - I forget whether or not I saw one I liked that time around (and I'd have to go looking to see if I could find it if I did, because it's probably hidden away somewhere if so). Though I DO know that I have a signed copy of the Playing the Angel CD/DVD combo I waited online for about 10 hours for the day before that concert.

I'm passing on the current concert, though (which is literally tonight in NYC/MSG, which is where I'd see them).

Nice. I have two or three each from Touring the Angel, Touring the Universe, and the Delta Machine tour, one of them being the men's version of Rochelle's shirt from Left 4 Dead (I think that one's from Angel). That signed copy is pretty sweet. I wish they did that out here in LA.
