Shadow has two top 25 finishes, but every other finish except one has been in the bottom half. Somehow, he's never been booted though. He has the worst STATS of any character who has never been booted except for Firion, who just joined this year and only has four appearances. It's an impressive achievement in its own way. Since his numbers are thoroughly mediocre already, this performance doesn't hurt him that much. Shadow drops a bit from 39.56% to 39.14%, only losing one spot to Cid Highwind to land at 76th place.

His New Era numbers are even worse, to the point that Shadow actually went up there! He rises slightly from 31.33% to 31.44%, breaking a tie with Kadaj for 85th place.

Holding up my end of the Daddy of Light bargain with GMUN, I've also started watching it. I'm three episodes in so far. I guess I'll post thoughts here since the other topic purged

It's alright, but I know literally nothing about FFXIV so some of this is going over my head. A lot of it is based around Japanese societal stuff too and I don't know much about that either. I just keep feeling so bad for the kid in his weird office job society and all the life lessons he's learned so far seem completely backwards to me. Girls quitting has nothing to do with the blatant sexism the episode went out of its way to display, they just need cute uniforms! Also, pretend to be someone completely different just to make clients happy! Uhhh

The father/son stuff is all good though so I'll keep watching! I'm just glad I don't work in Japan.

I went to the doctor on Friday because I feared I might have come down with pneumonia, but it turned out my left lung was just 60% collapsed and leaking air instead, so to the emergency room I went. They stuck a tube through my ribs to suck out the air, but the leak hasn't healed and thus the lung hasn't fully re-expanded. So now I guess it's time to cut me open and cut out the weak parts of the lung or something.

The funny thing is this is actually like the fifth time the lung collapsed (over like 7 years) but the previous times were all accompanied by severe shoulder/back pain so I had always assumed the shortness of breath was just a side effect of whatever I did to my arm. So uh guess I got lucky all those times that it fixed itself. <_<

There's a lot of references I think will go over people's head because they rely on Japanese pop culture that isn't anime or games ( though there's a few of those too)

The more eps I watch, the less the game gets interesting and the more engaging the workforce stuff gets.

Sure it overplays the stereotypes, but it's funny the way american sitcoms in most workplaces are funny.

Has anyone ever pointed how unfair it is that the host can save a character on the very first minute
I mean really it gives Squall a free pass for the first 10 rounds and then a free, sure save for every round after that
It might even give the host an extra save because he is one of the first to vote EVERY time
Squall stats average should decrease by like 10 to make up for that

yeah this is not a "one person doesn't like what I save" stipulation

(which is exactly why Nanis is complaining by the way; if I saved FFIX characters he'd have never said anything)
