So opinions time, are these PSP games good enough that I should bug friends for cash?


Fortunately, there isn't a lot I wanted from the sale. I did want Deadpool (PS3) as well, but PAL store has a sale on it that lasts longer (higher price, but at least I can use my own cash).

Given that I barely game, I tend to avoid flash sales altogether now. It's much worse to buy digital games you aren't playing than it is to buy physical games since at least you can sell the physical.

In the last three years, $10 is as cheap as it has been, and the previous sale was back at the start of 2016 as well, so I'm not sure I'd want to wait for another.

Even if I don't end up playing all my purchases myself, I have my account shared with family (and right now with Gamechamp as well while he plays The Last of Us on PS4). A fair number of my PSN purchases are for family rather than myself (Deadpool will be one of those, I've beaten it on Steam but my 15 year old brother likes Marvel and DC movies, so I figure the game will be fun for him).

I'll recommend a much cheaper PSTV then. I've known them to get as low as US$20 (though you will want a memory card, which is the expensive bit). Can even use your PS4 controller to play games on it.

The Ys series is pretty great. Some people don't like the bump battle system in I and II though.

I think I have the Ys games on steam. I've only played one of them (I think oath in felghana). Super fun

it last till monday, its a surprise sale. it saved me from buying the far cry series.

though curious about what's going to appear on monday (knowing them) its likely to be a dud or crappy sale.

Oh, and on the subject of The 3rd Birthday - coming from a Parasite Eve fan - it's fucking terrible. Just complete awful in every single way. Trademark Squeenix bullshit is in full force with this one.

That said, someone that doesn't care about PE might enjoy the combat and (abhorrent) fanservice
