Man I vastly prefer the design of the first Code to the second.

I think there are specific cases later on where the buff denial function of the second code is very useful. Those are extremely rare, though it was actually kinda nice in Nero Fest.

The big thing is even where it's useful it has to outweigh the general purpose of the massive attack buff, heal, and evasion. Like I was pleasantly surprised a few times using it for Nero Fest but ultimately it's like... I could deny that defense buff or I could just buff my attack a ton and hit harder anyway

A buff could theoretically exist where it'd be so high priority to deny at all costs that it becomes worth using but I haven't seen it yet.

I believe there is eventually a story mission that basically requires it or a servant with a similar skill

on a related note to grinding, did germania 15 times for the Wild Beast mission and got like 3 chaos claws (and a handful of evil bones) so that was nice at least

The grind has nearly killed me. Even 3*s seem to take forever to level up after Ascending twice and everybody needs all of the same materials still with no fast way to get any of them yet. It's just brutal

Can always just wait for events for materials. I don't grind for mats much. Focus mainly on mana prisms.

Broke my phone screen to the point where it's inoperable and this game is dumb about syncing with Google Play so not going to be able to play this game for a few weeks. I do actually intend on fixing the screen and selling the used phone at a discount (already replaced it because I didn't wanna be without a phone for long) so I'll probably be back, but maybe I won't be! (if the game continues to be sluggish on updates or my attempt to repair the screen myself fails)

If you want to transfer, you can maybe use a mouse or keyboard with the phone.

I'll think about it. I'll probably try using one of those adapters that lets me hook a USB mouse in and if I need anything beyond that that'll be it. Like I said odds are the screen gets fixed in a few weeks, since I'm actually somewhat decent at do it yourself stuff when I get around to it but yeah.

Game is dumb for not syncing with Google Play though. These archaic transfer codes, man.

Did a 10-pull. Got Victor From The Moon, Code Cast, and 2nd copy of Shroud of Magdalene. And Euryale, so at least that's good.

Gonna use up ~20k of my FPs in hope of NP5-ing Euryale and maybe get David/Hector.

....no such luck. Oh well.

Looks like I would only have to see Anne for the card art and NP? I faced Mary and Anne only ever showed up for the NP so that seems to be the case. Kinda makes me want Mary now even if Anne is gross
