i'm at 325 rofl. such a hoarder. and just sacrificed my first GHB unit; a Lloyd to give Titania iceberg, which she kinda needs to be able to kill reds while leveling up in the 30s. all those attempts at infernal paid off cause i've needed all of the few Shannas i've pulled for desperation so far.

Man, it's harder to rank higher in Arena Assault than in Arena, even if i'm bringing in almost all Lv 40's. I did screw up a few times and could have used an item, but I didn't think i would only rank around the middle. Only getting 1400 feathers :(

Your arena assault score is based off of your first team, so you'll probably want a team of skill inherited 5* characters to lead off.

I'll end up ranking around 4k for an extra 3k feathers. I think that's the absolute best reward tier I can hope for from this thing

but that just means you'll be fighting really strong teams with weak ones of your own

i led off with some 4*s and still took i think 3 deaths throughout. that was my first run when i had no tems and didn't care to play the mode again.

First one I beat, but my super strong team was my second squad. And it was because I did it all on easy. Tried again and basically did two Advanced and the rest Easy, completed again but can't boost my score further really.

you seem to have had especially good luck pulling units and more diligence in actually training them so that makes sense. i have three 5*s (Spring Chrom, Nowi and Abel) that i pulled 3+ months ago that i still haven't gotten to level 40 and another (Sanaki) that i just did last week.

my biggest problem might be that Linde is my only blue mage (well, i have a 4* level 40 Ursula but i don't think she cracks my top 28) and i'm so used to using her for everything. training Nowi would probably help with filling that niche. finally getting Nino to 5* level 40 also helps as she's nearly identical to Linde apart from color. maybe Tharja could be next. she's -atk, but +spd, so i could always pass her weapon if i ever happen to pull another +spd that isn't -atk.

finally got that Legion quest done on like my 5th try. Nino already putting in work. did it with her, Xander and Azura (and Legion). Xander was the star of course. QR2 + defense tile + Stahl's +3 defense let him kill even the blue cav.

the lack of positioning skills is definitely a killer. i've only inherited them onto a few units by now - Hector, Eirika, Sonya and Xander. i have a ton of draw-back fodder, and a fair amount of swaps. not a whole lot of repositions. though all of those characters are useful for other skills too, which makes only a few decisions easy (Xander and Nowi can get both QR2 and swap from Subaki, anyone who wants swordbreaker can get draw back... which i guess is pretty much just Sanaki? but she has no SP right now).

Nino is done being trained, got her to level 40 last night in TT itself lol. would it be worth making a second cav team for a 4* Ursula? i haven't used them much but even Xander, Camus, Elise and lolJagen (haven't put his fort cav on anyone else yet) seems pretty effective. the only other usable horse units i have are 5* Titania, 4* Stahl and 3* Cecilia. i suppose i could always train up and 5* my mediocre Reinhardt. or maybe throw Clive in there when i get him.

Pulled Amelia for free and decided to try a few more times for Tana. Their natures aren't great, but I can't complain. Lukas might be worth promoting. That nature seems ideal, and there's something hilarious about a 46 defense unit unassisted

I spent $30 once and $13 twice. Each time afterwards, I've thought to myself, "man that was stupid, buying orbs in this game gets you so little", but somehow, every time, I've basically gotten who I wanted out of it. Ike and Titania the first time, Summer Robin (really wanted Tiki, but Ms. Underboob is good too) and Cecilia the last two times.

nothing. i figure if spending the amount of an MMO sub ($15/month) doesn't help significantly, it's not worth it. and in this game, 28 orbs a month would do very little. if orbs were 1/10th the price i'd probably be buying them all the time, and if they were 1/4th the price i'd probably buy some occasionally and then hate myself for it, so in a way i have to thank them for being able to save my money.

Yeah, there have been a couple times where I thought about spending money, looked at the shop, saw/remembered just how terrible the dollars-per-orb rate is, and then immediately resigned myself to the fact I wasn't going to get the unit I want.

If I was ever going to spend money, I'd probably be doing it right now between the TT banner, the Hero Fest, and the new SS banner, but I don't think I'd be willing to spend more than like $40 on this game. And there's a good enough chance that $40 won't even get you a unit you want that I just could never justify spending money on orbs.

I'm seriously thinking about spending some money to get Ike since I won't be able to beat all the remaining Chain Challenges in time.

Pulled on Hero Fest banner and got a +Spd/-Res Hinata, which is a really good nature for him. I'm tempted to keep him because he has a niche use as a tanky Ruby Sword user, but I will most likely have to sac him because everyone and their mom wants Fury.

For my free summon, got 4* +Spd/-Res Boey. I'm happy with it since I could use another green mage and he makes good use of Ignis. Definitely going to train him up for Arena Assault.

My free pull from the new banner resulted in 4 reds and 1 colorless... Took the colorless and got another 4* Niles. Decided to do one more summon on it, and it gave me 4 more reds and another colorless... got 4* Clarine.

Used most of my remaining orbs summoning on the TT banner and got a -SPD; +HP Lucina... ugh. Looking like Gray and Summer Corrin are going to be my only focus pulls this month.

Yeah I also got 4 Reds 1 Colorless on this new banner.

No blues just made me take a single red (Lon'qu) and run.

Yeah, I meant points per map (or points per minute, roughly the same thing). The stamina cost isn't really relevant to me; I have more stamina potions than I'll ever use and tempest maps are stamina-efficient anyway (you spend about 3-5 stamina per map depending on setting, compared to 9 for 10th stratum and 20+ for story maps).

I kinda wish I hadn't as I got bored of the game soon after spending but maybe I'll get back into it. I'm still caring enough to do login bonuses which means the game isn't quite dead.

Yea, I've stopped playing non-mobile games completely, so i can justify spending some dough on this.

In my TT run this morning, I thought i would need to bring in my second team once TA Mae KO'd Nino, but Gray pulled in WORK on the final map and i beat it with him left i think. I don't know how Mae was able to do any damage to Nino because it should have been 0 from my calcs.

Draw back and Swordbreaker are good calls for Sanaki. The only other B I would consider for her is Red Tomebreaker. Swordbreaker isn't very desirable though, so I'd just sacrifice Sully for draw back. The other candidates that might like sword users who don't want vantage/desperation/quick riposte. I find it useful on my + Atk Eirika to (sometimes) outduel other swords like Ryoma.

I generally like to give draw back to mages, and swap only to tanks. Nowi/Xander are ideal since they want QR in any case. Reposition is great on anything really, but fliers in particular.

Reinhardt doesn't have to be plus attack to be good. I think you could mix and match two cavalry teams with that group. 4* Stahl isn't great but might be able to fill in as a red with the ruby sword. Cecilia, Ursula, and Reinhardt can output a lot of damage with the buffs

I didn't know there are no 4* units that learn Life and Death 3. That's one expensive skill.

Thinking more on it, I'm wondering if Delthea is better off with Darting Blow. She hits 40 Spd, which allows her to double foes that hit 35 Spd, something that LaD doesn't grant. Even with Draconic Aura, she may not be able to OHKO, but with doubling, it will most likely happen, so doubling is more important, right?

I'd go with darting blow for her. I don't like going full glass canon with mages since they will often be called on to tank another mage. Fury is worth considering if you pulled a plus speed one

That sucks. Training her was a breeze with two Dancers and a healer, she mows down maps like they're nothing.

I had never considered using Auto-Battle because lolAI and was reading a topic on FEH board where people mentioned using AB to quickly rack up points in TT. It was said you earn more losing Lunatic 5 than winning Hard 5, so if that's the case, i will definitely take advantage of it because i want all the orbs i can get. I'd imagine Horse Emblem would be my best bet.
