Just beat infernal bound hero battle. I had to unequip my Titania's emerald axe for her to survive a hit from Lilina.

FYI, triangle adept Xander with hp seal under hone and fortify baits and kills Lilina and Cecilia on lunatic. That became easy once I realized I just needed to get him the seal. Mine had ignis but not sure if it was required

weird, i feel like i've had pretty good luck in this overall but i have the fewest number of unique units so far at 100. i guess part of that is missing a bunch of common colorless units because i rarely summon colorless. and skipping Brides and pulling 0 summer units.

3* Laslow for my free summon. only getting a 3* feels even worse now, as expected.

and as usual, i beat lunatic of this bound hero battle without much trouble and have no idea what to do for infernal

If you have a horse team, I think you can start by killing the flier with a ranged thing. Reposition to safety with Camus, and he can kill Lilina and Cecilia with vantage bonfire.

My Camus didn't have bonfire, so I instead sent Olwen left to kill the lancer, red mage, and bow user while Xander, Camus, and Titania handled the rest

i don't have a horse team. i can kill those 3 on the left with Linde, but anyone else gets destroyed by the rest. i do have Camus at 5* but i haven't finished leveling him yet. and i assume he needs horse buffs? in which case my Linde can no longer kill the lance cav, because she needs Eirika. and i don't have any horse mage to substitue for Linde..

my other thought was red tomebreaker Sanaki to bait Lilina/Cecilia first turn while Linde kills the lance cav and baits the red mage. then clean up the Peg with... any green unit/archer. but Sanaki isn't leveled either, of course. <_<

I'm not sure if he needs them. I can't run the calcs now. Fury, Eirika, hp seal might be enough. Worth a try at least.

FYI, Lilina also has red tome breaker. So make sure you can outspeed her if you go that route

i know Lilina has red tome breaker, that's the reason i need it on Sanaki. to survive. i didn't pay attention to Lilina's speed but i can always finish her off on round 2. but i do think Sanaki can double with speed boon and Eirika's buff.

I got a 4* Olivia from the free summon. So now I have a 4* 40+5 Olivia, meaning it wasn't a total waste.

I just beat the Infernal Lilina map with Summer Gaius, Katarina, Cherche, and Olivia. Took quite a bit of tweaking with skills and seals, but I finally managed it. I needed to give Kat TA3 and R. Tomebreaker to be able to tank both Lilina and Cecilia.

With my free summon I had a pool of one colorless at the top and 4 reds to choose from. I tapped on the far right one hoping for the best and... was rewarded with a 3-star Draug!!

At least it was on a crappy banner, so hopefully my future free summons will be good when it really counts.

Of all the skills I thought would be the one to save me, I didn't think Drag Back would be it(granted Hit and Run would do the same thing for me in this particular case). Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to be Infernal Mode and I'll be done with the Bound Hero Battle. Well I've got 6 days for that at least.


Flubbin said he got Kat to tank both bosses at once. I have a +Res one that needs some love so maybe I'll try that(Though I can only give her TA2).

Katarina should work. My brother took that strategy without access to TA3, and it did the trick.

You probably don't even need TA, because my Kat is -Res so she couldn't tank both of them without it.

well plan Sanaki worked. which is good because i realized i don't have a spare Lon'qu for Camus. needed QP/iceberg on Sanaki to one-round Lilina and needed Sonya's res ploy to kill the lance cav with Linde. fortify def from Ninian to buff Linde's blade a bit more would have also worked, but then i don't know if Linde could have killed that peg. it had a ton of res and it would have been hard to get Eirika's buffs on her again after that first round.

Well Katarina was a huge help. Though even +Res left her at freaking 5 hp after the Lilian hit, so I think without TA she would have been finished off by Cecelia. 4* Klein was strong enough to kill the flier, the red mage, and to finish off the cav(Rein couldn't 1 shot because LOL inflated stats).

Glad to use Katarina again, and now she has some skills instead of having a bunch of blank spots. ^^


Burned a fair amount of feathers though. But hey, that's what Voter Gauntlet was for :P

my -HP Sanaki survived Lilina with a whole 1 HP. so yeah, TA was definitely needed on her, but of course she comes with it so it's not a big deal.

part of that is because i didn't kill the peg (which has drive atk) first like most people. i don't have any ranged unit that can one-round it. such high spd and res, my Takumi is -atk so definitely couldn't one-shot it, and my only brave bow user is a 3* level 20 Gordin. and even if i did all that i'd need to put reposition on Sanaki, which i don't have a whole lot of to spare. still, i need to get my Nino to 5* level 40 already for situations like his.

According to this, a 3.45% chance of a red orb having an off banner 5* and about 10% chance of 5* overall.

Free pull on the new banner gave me a 4* neutral Tharja. Destined to merge into my 5* one or sacrifice her weapon down the line. Not bad

Free wings of mercy fodder for Ninian sounds pretty good. Or it can be useful for getting defense wins with Hector

My free pull got me Clair, but I was planning to spend some orbs in hopes of getting Celica/Delthea, and I figured getting Gray would be alright too.

Went ahead and summoned the rest of the pool, and the lone green orb was my first Hector! (+Def; - Res)

After that was strictly pulling blue and red and ended up with a -HP; +SPD 5* Tharja and after around 75 orbs on the banner total ended up with Gray who's also -HP; +SPD.

Really wanted Celica, but I know I should save the rest of my orbs for Hero Fest at this point after that luck.

Unique hero count is now at 106 (picked up Clair, Hector, Caeda, and Gray).

Three 5* stars with good nature is great for only 75 orbs.

Did my first run through arena assault and lost on map 7. I might need to skill inherit some characters for more consistency, but I should be able to clear it soon. I brought Charlotte and sword breaker Ike to fight Ryoma in the seventh map and that didn't work out

Oh, yeah, I realize now that my comment about luck could be interpreted multiple ways.

I meant that I had such good luck, even though it wasn't who I was pulling for, that the odds of me using this month's orbs plus what I have left and getting another Gray/something bad/nothing at all instead of Celica are just too high to risk it.

I still haven't tried arena assault yet since I wanted to level these guys up first, plus I've gotten lazy and have stockpiled a lot of fodder that needs to be doled out for SI.

Good news is I have something to spend stamina on again now before the Tempest Trial, as beforehand I'd already finished all the quests this month and had plenty of SP on all the 5* units I'd want to inherit stuff.

broke my 4% pity rate on Nohr Summer with a 5* Catria. same boon/bane as my 4* level 40 Catria, too, +atk/-def. bleh.

also got my first Reinhardt and my first +atk Cherche. Rein is +HP/-spd so he might just be vantage fodder. Cherche is -HP, so not quite ideal, but i'll think about using her.

Catria is at least serviceable in arena assault without much investment.

I decided to build my Cherche with the same nature. It isn't perfect, but I didn't want to wait potentially months to have a usable brave axe character. Plus attack heavily outweighs anything else on that kind of unit.

death blow would cost me 20k right now (and brave axe+ would cost another 20k, or my Camilla, who i don't really want to sacrifice) so i might just wait a while. i'm also not sure if i want to go for a 4*+10.

I'm still waiting on Death blow for her and Reinhardt. 20k feathers is preferable to summoning colorless for Klein. Still, she's effective with attack plus three and buffed by Delthea. I five starred her, but a merged 4* might have been smarter.

I don't miss Camilla. Brave axe doesn't suit her well and it isn't worth investing in another weapon to make her useful imo

Free summon from TT got me my third Effie. That's what I'm talking about! Haven't checked her nature, but even if it sucks, she can be just DB fodder.

If i had saved my orbs, I probably could have gotten Delthea from this banner rather than trying on the other banner, but getting Effie and Nowi from the previous banner was pretty good, so i'm not upset since DB Reinhardt is unstoppable.

I have to save my orbs for Ninian, but once i get her, not sure if i should go for Delthea or Ike.

Not knowing much about your teams, I'd say Delthea. She offers a very powerful support effect, particularly with brave users. Even if her nature sucks, she will still be useful.

Yea, Ryoma is GOAT and i love him, but i also love Ike and want him for variety. In terms of actual benefits offered by Ike and Delthea, the latter will get me more mileage. We'll see how many orbs it takes me to get Ninian >_>

I was initially planning on upgrading Zephiel next since my Armor team needs all the help it can get, but i'm now leaning towards Xander for better general usage. Even with Pivot, Zephiel just can't keep up. Would be a different story if he had Distant Counter.

Yeah, I was in the same boat, with the same boon/bane Cherche, but pulled the trigger because I had plenty of feathers and also more importantly had the benefit of a - SPD; + DEF Camilla to sac. I later pulled my 3rd Camilla which was also - SPD; + DEF.

I haven't pulled enough Cherches to ever really consider going for a 4* +10 though.

Decided to pull on a whim. Got Summer Xander. Not the green I was looking for. Pulled the red and got a 4* Cain which means I get to WoM someone.

Then I made the mistake of pulling colorless because "My pity rate is gone anyway" and got the trash I deserved(Well at least I have a Gordin now). >_>


The good news is that apparently +Def -Res is actually good for him? Well that's a unit to train up on Friday I suppose.

There's a rather easy way to farm items in Arena Assault. Start the first round in easy mode with a single unit. After that, you should only have to fight one person per round in easy. Your score wont' be very high obviously, but you'll get 3 items easy.

Do the items stay with you until they're used? Or you lose them if you bring them into battle and don't use them?

Between Squad Assault and Arena Assault, it's time i trained side characters that could be useful. Training just never stops >_<

It's also time i finally gave Donnel Bonfire. Buckethead pulls so much weight that he deserves major props. I'm also getting closer to caving in and giving Beruka Ignis.

And yeah I know what you mean! Way back when I was content with Nino + Reinhardt + Dancer + whoever but now I nee more flexibility. Not that those units are weak by any means, but not having a Plan B really sucked.

Things are a bit better now with S.Robin, and Lukas for blue(And I have a Nowi in training) along with S.Tiki(And soon S.Xander) in green. Also thankful to have a usable Red that isn't freaking Roy, because Nino really isn't the character you want to give the job of killing Hector to(And my Roy tended to not to much outside of killing greens)


Still quite a ways to go but that's the life when you don't have hundreds to burn on a whim right? :P

Beat Arena Assault for the first time on Advanced, no items used, 1 death, ~4700 points, rank ~5000. Really fun mode, I'm excited to train up my reserves some more. The fact that it doesn't cost anything to play it is wonderful.

Also, I can confirm I still have the item I brought but didn't use, so don't worry about that.

I see a +10 Sakura. I wonder if it's that Sakura fan or just another player...

A +10 Lucius and Mist of all things as well.


(My personal favorite is the +10 Summer Elise. If only I had that cash/luck)
