There is a person who legitimately dislikes me, who attacks and trolls me as he sees fit because I care about something that existed before he was even on this board. And the response from my so-called group of friends? To laugh at me along with him. To compare me to jobber wrestlers, aka losers, while referring to him as the big star/winner. It really is just me starting to realize the petty nature of this group, the fact of being out in a new place these past few months, meeting real people in real life that actually treat me with respect. People who value my opinion, my work and my drive. I get nothing like that from any of you on a consistent basis, and I frankly am tired of having to put up with trolling and ridicule for a few instances of enjoyment. There is literally nothing I can derive pleasure from anymore, it's been ruined, or "tarnished" if you all want one more chuckle at me in the program I've already uninstalled from my computer. Really, I'd leave entirely if Gen wasn't begging me to reconsider and stay and the fact I enjoy making the VGC gauntlet. But to sit among you all, to be ridiculed and attacked without provocation and without defense like that? No more, I'm done. If you were interested in returning to watching, I wish you had conveyed it because I would have welcomed you back. Gravy started watching as part of my effort on Discord to get people to watch in Discord on PPVs. In fact, that has been a standing invitation to anyone in Discord. That does include you. I always encourage people to watch with us in voice chat. It certainly isn't a personal gathering of which we had had previously. You are more than welcome. Remember that that started as part of an effort to find people with which to watch while I was not part of the gauntlet crew. To be truthful, it never crossed my mind to invite you; you've been very busy with Gen and your new environment/job. When I returned to the group, my style of PPV intake had changed. X does not equal Y in that sense anymore. Furthermore, I will admit that I do not really have any activities with individuals in Gauntlet Crew anymore. I have activities in which I participate with family and roommates and irl friends, but not as much with the gauntlet crew. I believe that if the right situation arose, I would be happy to participate in something. However, given the consistent tension that has occurred between us as of late, I felt that I was making a safer choice to only participate in one-on-one settings in a limited capacity, because I do value our friendship and I feel that I haven't reached a point where my personality is compatible with yours. It seemed like a smarter choice based on the last several months of Discord conversations where what I believed was innocent did not come across in that way to you. If I am to spend time in voice or in person with someone, I would prefer for them to not hate me at the end of the event, and I feel that is what would happen if we were to have social interactions like that again. I do not blame that on you, and entirely on my own track record of attempts to interact with you over the last several months. If that has caused further separation, that was not at all my intent. I would certainly welcome you to return to watching PPVs with us or any other activity with glee. I understand you have a perception of things and perception matters, but for me, it has of late been about trying to just kowtow to your wishes and for you to angrily lash out at me for other things. And even when I immediately bend to something, you quit the group and essentially tacitly blame me for it.
