Suburban Commando (1991)

I'm a little offended by the implication that some of the films named were less than excellent. DDX's examples, along with the details, seem to suggest that it's bad movies that were enjoyed despite the lack of quality >_>

Well, Fluppy Dogs was actually well rated on IMDB, but it was a cancelled pilot episode for a series that never went further. Which is a shame in a way.

I always had taste. I have an extremely difficult time thinking of anything I actually watched by choice as a kid that I don't still enjoy now.

MAYBE the old He-Man cartoon, which was a lot worse than I remembered it being as a kid when I watched it as an adult. But in terms of movies, if I liked it then I probably like it now, and if I hate it now I probably hated it then.

The converse isn't necessarily true, though - there are plenty of movies I probably would have hated as a kid that I appreciate more now as an adult. But I tend to grow into movies (and TV shows) more than I do out of them. Mainly because I've always been kind of picky about what TV shows and movies I liked in the first place.

In my case, a lot of things I may have enjoyed as a kid I haven't seen in ages so I'm not sure if they're actually good or bad.

Yeah, but now it has camp. Actually, I probably enjoyed New Adventures more as an adult than as a kid.

I loved Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, but that falls into the category of "Meant to be bad in a comedic way":

Looks like the Internet disagrees though.

so 80's, I'll still like it because I enjoyed it as a child so nolstagia obviously but it's pretty cheesy, also the fights scenes aren't even that good, of course i'm just spoiled from all the Martial Arts movies we've had over the years(Raid 2 ftw).
