Never been so bothered by such a painful memory that it has me cornered everywhere I look.

I've been having the same dream for the past two years, every night.

You know how you can feel a zapping feeling like pins and needles all over your neck in an anxiety attack? I just feel warm all over because I'm angry like a cornered dog.

Ugh. This is ptsd. I don't want to sleep because I'll have the same dream, I don't want to be awake because I can't forget this.

You need to talk to someone to let off some steam. It might help if you speak with loved ones.

My dad (till this day) still listens to my crazy lucid dreams just to humour me. And it makes me feel better.

I don't want to trigger you since PTSD can be very serious but would you be able to say what field of work you were in when it happened? Were you military or was it something else? No need to bring up details.

A good way to help fall asleep is this 4-7-8 breathing method. Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold it in for 7, breath out through your mouth for 8

I have 2 reccomendations.

1. Watch Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (to cheer your self up)
2. Watch Invader Zim!!! All of the Seasons. (to loose your self in a happy place)

Suffering from anxiety can be really fucking painful, I feel your pain. It can take years to get over, and the worst is when you're trying to fall asleep and also waking up in the morning.
Before going to sleep turn on a TV show or music and set sleep mode on your electronics. I find this has helped me.
And I'll recommend Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Those shows are a godsend, xD
