a.k.a. imgcake memorial topic :"(

I used to use imageshack waaay back then but it sucked so hard. I also used Photobucket and visited it today for the first time in forever and wow...it's ad hell. Try it.

I now mainly use imgur with postimage as a backup.

I use imgur, though I'm not happy with the way they don't allow direct image links any more. I guess it doesn't matter since most people here use embedded images.

yeah I used to be happy with imgur but they've become jerks about direct linking and it's annoying

which is why I just made a quick implementation in aerispies which again is still crappy itself

imgur has gotten annoying lately on mobile with the little "view in app" popup. No thanks, I'm not going to download your app just to view pictures, haha. It's still probably the best image hosting site out there, though.

I mean really the big issue of convenience is that imgur has built in gamefaqs embedding and I don't think anyone else does. certainly not aerispies. you could make it the best image hosting site in the world and I still wouldn't use it if it didn't have gamefaqs embedding, since that's the main feature I need.

essentially Allen has colluded with imgur to create a monopoly....
