Turner told WCAX-TV that friends at the bank described pressure from Sanders' office, but he says those friends didn't have direct knowledge of the negotiations. To be fair, I don't think he's saying that at all, at least for the first few posts. It looks like he was saying that if an investigation turned something up that came about due to hearsay, you shouldn't dismiss it because it came about due to hearsay, but otherwise you really have nothing solid to go on and it absolutely should be dismissed. In later posts he kind of lost the plot though. That being said, I know nothing about this "scandal" but if there is evidence of wrongdoing then it does a lot more than the Russia accusations do to Trump. Unless there's some evidence there too in recent days that I'm unaware of. It's an indisputable fact that Jane Sanders falsely reported donor contribution levels. The issue is whether she knowingly did it and, given the discrepancy, that seems likely. For Bernie's part, the allegation (ie, the hearsay) is that his office put pressure on people at the bank to push the loan through. The two issues aren't necessarily joined at the hip, either.
