Idk about anyone else, but i cancelled my wwe network subscription when lesnar won the title and probably wont be back until he loses it. If roman is the winner maybe not eben then. Could just not give lesss of a shit about any match involving either of them. I look forward to the teo being paired id only because it is less to fast forward watching raw on hulu. Either way, my excitement is so negative for the two i just cant even watch, regardless of how solid im sure it will be.

I watched Raw last Monday and was really surprised at the presentation of Roman and Braun.

Roman kind of taunting fans in the ring and embracing/playing to their hatred. Braun poses for the audience and plays to their cheers.

The whole thing felt like they were actually treating Roman more as a heel and Braun more as a face. Like they know they can't actually make it that way without pissing off Vince so they are just doing it in a way that Vince won't notice.

And well, I will say it's probably not because this is WWE we're talking about, but man the presentation and results makes all the sense if it is and none of the sense if it's not, so the more I think about it the more I think... maybe? It would almost totally redeem the show last night if it was.

Also I don't think that stunt was pre-taped since you could see they legit jammed the door and it was stuck. Them sending out Hawkins and Slater to distract the crowd while they legitimately worked to open it was actually pretty fascinating.

I don't think the door was necessarily actually jammed, since Braun had to get back inside, but they did a damn good job of making it look like it was by actually avoiding where the lock/latch was for the first minute or so.

Nah dude. I love to be pleasantly surprised. I would have loved to be pleasantly surprised by Joe vs Lesnar but it was just nothing we really wanted from it. We're welcome to have different perspectives on the match, but a good deal of people were disappointed in the six minute match we got.

When I'm pleasantly surprised, I'm usually one of the first in this topic to talk about it. But having faith in Raw booking is just something I refuse to do at this point. And I'm far from the only one.

Well, Joe vs Lesnar was what I wanted from it. The first two minutes of that made sure of it. I got so much entertainment out of Joe just ambushing him and wrecking him.

I think you're being a bit too harsh on it because Joe did not win. The execution was excellent, and the way the announcers sold it, and the post match, this one has every reason for you to think they will actually follow up on this in the proper way. You can say "well they won't because WWE never does" but this one is different from the usual "wait and see" because the now is actually good-- it's not hopelessly praying WWE will right the ship after starting with off on a terrible foot. The feud and the match and the match followup were all great.

I say this as a guy who's usually right there with you and think this topic is generally way too kind to the crap WWE feeds you, giving benefits of a doubt where none have been earned-- Joe/Brock is about the only thing the company is doing right at the moment.

WWE Championship - Jinder's worked his way up to 37th place (out of 50) with 49 days as champ, officially tied with Bray Wyatt. Obviously he'll take 37th place alone tomorrow, and then next up is Sgt. Slaughter with 64 days.

Universal - Brock's at 99 days after his successful defense at Great Balls of Fire. If he's still champion after Summerslam, the Beast's part time schedule will help him pass Owens' 188 day reign as champ.

IC - Miz keeps the ball rolling and now has 387 days across 7 reigns as champion, putting him in 11th place out of 78 superstars. In 9 days, he'll take Wade Barrett's spot in the top 10!

US - Kevin Owens' latest reign ended at 66 days, giving him an overall total of 95 days as champ, good enough for 49th place. Meanwhile AJ Styles becomes the 86th US champ in history! He already passed Raven's 24-hour reign as champion, next up is Edge's six days!

Raw Tag - Out of 74 different champions, Cesaro is in 29th with 140 days and Sheamus is in 45th with 77. Cesaro will soon break a tie with Matt Hardy, while Sheamus will break a tie with MVP, Rikishi, and Scotty 2 Hotty.

Just finished Balls, and the Joe/Lesnar match might've only been six minutes because the ambulance was legit jammed and took about ten minutes away from the scheduled time. Network runoff time isn't a thing if they have a scheduled time to be out of the arena and need to pack up/fix the truck/fix the screen/fix Strowman/break Matt Hardy

Reigns going "You have his number?" as if he were about to make a 10 year old's gay joke was just awful. The rest of what he said felt a bit more defensive and like he was trying to prove how strong he is rather than badass and confident.

Everything Joe said was golden.

Lesnar is usually pretty great on the mic because, even though he doesn't have a threatening voice, he exudes confidence and he carries such a presence that the way his voice sounds hardly changes anything. When he says you ain't shit and he'll kick your ass, it sounds like a real threat. That's important. Also, since he lets Heyman talk for him for much, whenever he finally does grab the mic, it carries more weight.

I think the tag division on Raw should be fine. The Revival are killer, Gallows and Anderson could be killer with the right push, and Sheamus and Cesaro are doing good. And we don't even know if the feud with the Hardys is gonna continue.

I don't really want Titus Worldwide getting any kind of tag title reign because Titus is better as a manager than an actual competitor, and Slater and Rhyno shouldn't get it, but any of the other 4 I mentioned are great tag teams. The tag division can only last being good for so long if they're only utilizing 4 good teams (and they'd have to utilize all of them the right way) but it could be really quite great for that time.

You think Broken Hardys would be heel in WWE? I wouldn't imagine so. The crowd reaction is too positive. If you set Broken Hardys against any other team on Raw right now, the crowd would only root for Broken Hardys. They'd have to be faces. Maybe not a traditional style of babyface, but they would be faces.

I'm not super knowledgable on how exactly the story went in TNA but I have a strong feeling that you wouldn't be able to call WWE Broken Hardys heels once they finally do the turn.

And then, if Broken Hardys are the only faces, then cool. The Hardys are the only strong face team on Raw right now anyways and it's working out fine. Make them the only ones to root for so they become the central focus of the tag division in the eyes of the fans. And of course, if WWE didn't want only one strong face team, they wouldn't have to keep The Revival or Gallows & Anderson heel forever (Sheamus & Cesaro probably should stay heel for a while since they just turned).
