Which ones did you like better?

When does the new spider man movie come out? It doesn't have andrew garfield in it does it? I never saw the ones with garfield in it they looked lame. sp man 1-3 i liked though. Heard they were gonna make a 4th one with maguire but talks fell through.

I preferred the Garfield movies, I think he was a MUCH better Spider-Man than Maguire, and Kirsten Dunst was insufferable as MJ while as Emma Stone was actually likeable and had good chemistry w/ Garfield.

To me, the ideal Spider-Man is the animated series from the '90's, where he's a bit older, smart, and is competent with his powers, and not constantly moping around like some emo person. It's really fucking annoying that they keep rebooting and redoing his high school years. But at least Garfield captured the snarkiness and intelligence (he designed the web-shooters, thank god...I hope I never see another "organic" webbing Spider-Man where they use it as a very thinly veiled reference to virility/impotence) of the version of Spider-Man I like. And while a lot of awful shit happened to him, too, he didn't stay down about it all the damn time.

He also voluntarily unmasked far fucking less (and if he did, it was usually after the person had already figured out his identity anyway), another annoyance w/ the movies I have. He did unveil who he was early to his gf....which was welcome as fuck after Toby moped around about his secret life distancing himself from MJ for nearly two whole movies.

Tobey was a better actor and had a much better delivery.

Garfield's twitchy quirks made him a more convincing Peter Parker and had a much better Spider-Man physique compared to the comics.

Raimi's directing for the first two films was sensational. Loved everything, composition wise.

The Amazing Spider-Man felt like a rushed, cool, modern portrayal of the Amazing Spider-Man comic universe. I had my beef with a lot of parts but overall it was enjoyable. Easier to bear than watching the trainwreck known as Spider-Man 3.

Conclusion:
I wish they would quit fucking up Spider-Man and giving us reboots.

1-3. Amazing Spider Man 2 sucked although I enjoyed the first. I enjoyed Spider Man 1, 2 and some parts of 3.

1 and 2 where pretty good, never saw 3 because I heard it sucked and I don't go out of my way to watch crappy movies.

Never saw The Amazing Spider-man movies, although the car chase scene in the second was filmed about a block from my office. I actually got to see them taping it from the roof.

I'll go with the first trilogy, even if they did shoehorn Mary Jane into Gwen Stacy's role for no apparent reason.

how do you know who is who? You both need to get a life instead of worrying about who is who. But i see that getting a life would be very hard for both of you. A lot of people don't like you 2 dudes and i don't blame them so that ain't much to go on
