Xenoblade Chronicles 2 definitely does have a Tales vibe, and not necessarily in a good way. The voice acting is pretty questionable here, too, and the world bits look kind of regressive.

But I'm interested in it, which is more than I could say for XCX.

It's crazy how fast Amiibo turned from "MUST GET THEM ALL" to "THERE'S NO GOD DAMN WAY"

Very sad that my Smash collection will be incomplete thanks to all these DLC exclusive Amiibo.

Game Freak put out an ad for developers for a console entry into a world famous RPG franchise. There was pretty much no other way that could've been interpreted.

Not a fan of the character designs though. Which is a shame because otherwise it looks great.

Yes, it is. Being on a console is a game changer for Pokemon, because Pokemon X/Y and Sun/Moon came so close to winning GotY on this site (and fell short of winning it all).

What pissed me off was when BotW came out and we found out there were unique items for the Smash Zelda characters. Back in January I saw Ganondorf and Sheik on clearance for like 7 bucks. I decided to pass on them because I don't like them in Smash and the only BotW amiibo information pre-release was around the 30th Anniversary line and the new BotW line. Then the game comes out and people find out there's unique items for them but they're all sold out except for scalpers, and now I can't find a Sheik for less than $70.
