Exit interview said that Brad and Troyzan misread the situation. The jury kept coming in so angry every tribal so they figured the jury was bitter with the winner And Brad and Troy said they felt Tai was going to be more liked that the winner.

The problem is that 90% of TAR winners are either edited as boring, sane mannequins or douche overdogs, so I didn't want London/Logan OR Matt/Red making the final three. As it stands I'll be happy with either Brooke/Scott or Tara/Joey winning.

I imagine a lot of it is editing. I doubt we see anywhere close to all of the content (like I doubt Troyzan sat there doing nothing literally the entire time as funny as that is to imagine) and it's probably a bit cherry picked to make Brad look bad to explain the vote. But like I said before he didn't have a lot to work with as Michaela and to a lesser extent Tai were going in on him with questions designed to make him look bad instead of allowing him to highlight his strengths. It also didn't help that the people on his side were mostly giving Sarah a chance to explain herself rather than letting Brad hype his own game.

I don't think most jurors ACTUALLY put themselves on a pedestal or have a holier-than-thou attitude. Yes you get the occasional one who is blatantly being a hypocrite like Lex or Dan Foley, but most of them I perceive as "You want my vote for a million dollars? I'm not going to make it easy." Which is perfectly fine.

I'm so sick of everyone acting like Parvati deserved to win just because Russell gave her a nod during the reunion show when he just wanted to save face. Honestly, anyone who takes anything said at a reunion show seriously -- especially those ridiculous "what if" jury votes -- is pretty clueless.

It was Russell who put down Boston Rob -- possibly the greatest to ever play this game -- and saved Parvati's ass. And then when there came a showdown between Russell and Parvati, it was Russell "the worst social player ever" who corralled more people and won the battle (cya, Danielle).

Russell could have eliminated Parvati literally any tribal council he wanted to. She could not -- did not -- muster the strength he had. It was he who built the alliances they survived on, he who played Coach like a fiddle -- and Jerri too. Parvati hid behind Russell's shield the entire game, and had it not been for him she would have been sent packing without much resistance just like on Cook Islands.

Not to say that she's a bad player -- she is a very good player -- but let's be real. She's no Russell Hantz.
