Atelier noms are fine. The best selections are not always made, but they're usually quite good.

Like MARIA is fine and all (and easily the best of the TBIYTC, Blue Radiance, MARIA trio mentioned before), but Atelier Ayesha has better picks tbqh.

Pretty decent set of matches. At least half are between two songs that I like to some degree, and the only one where neither song does much for me is Id/Monolith.

Well all the songs I complained about for being terrible lost last round, so I can be happy with that. There's a few "meh" songs but like I at least enjoy listening to all of these.

Just makes it even easier to take Laguerra. But RIP Butterfly. Daddy Mulk is not on the same level.

I'd say Daddy Mulk, Whereabouts of Light, and Scrap I/O are the three bad songs left in the contest. The other 13 are all good or better.

If anyone's curious about the seeding breakdowns:

6 1-2 seeds (gs, id, emil, FCDH, nefertiti, UT)
3 3-4 seeds (monolith, LDM, Big Blue)
5 5-8 seeds (scrap, 6FT, fateful, sunshine, mulk)
2 9-16 seeds (linca, whereabouts)

not bad. goldenslaughterer is the only song left i outright dislike, and almost half of these would be legitimately good winners.

There are very few songs I would describe that way, but in the case of MARIA, I'm not exaggerating. IT's truly awful. Maybe not Crazybus territory, but eugh.

Fun fact: After 3 rounds, Ghost Lead's position as dead last in the x-stats is unchanged. At least it hasn't gotten any worse, since FCDH hasn't lost yet. But with how relatively close most of the matches have been (doublings have not been all that routine), it's going to be hard to surpass 8.3% even if the Atelier Shallie wins the contest.

Umineko does it again with an impressive pull from behind. Don't feel bad, Neotokyo. At least you've got Tin Soldiers...even if Umineko has retirees in essentially every contest since first appearing year 3. (If you're wondering, there was no Umineko retiree in years 6 or 8.)

LINCA was behind until late in the match when it briefly had a lead, but Necrodancer hopped back at the finish line. I still say The Wight to Remain is a better track.

Wight to Remain is also great, but all Zone 4 music still bring gives me PTSD flashbacks to Aria.

Clerical error. It was 11-13. Not the first time I've adjusted the match results afterwards for minor miscounts, but since we were talking about it, yes, I goofed. Nobody's vote was DQ'ed.

Thank god, I was worried you guys would get all the matches wrong from here on out. Makes me hopeful

Id kept trying to stall Monolith's comeback attempts, but it ultimately ran out of gas, and right into the recordbooks. Id Purpose is now the most decorated song in round 4 appearances, with four straight unsuccessful retirement attempts.
