I got Strength to rank 10, but am I right in seeing that you can't actually fuse Yoshitsune until Morgana's S Link is maxed because you need the persona from his max rank as part of the fusion? And since Morgana's S Link is auto leveling you have to wait until it finishes to make yoshitsune?

Palace 7 spoilers

Man that moment when you see your party just barely has enough SP to take on the last boss of the palace on day 1, but then the game decides it's going to hit you with not one but two surprise Akechi fights. Had to use 1 of my 2 Soma's to get through that shit.

Oh well at least Akechi was awesome. Also I fused some OP Trumpeter and Gun-based Raphael builds, so that's also nice.

That was a pretty stupid move on the devs part.Luckily i had been rotating during the dungeon to keep SP high so i only needed to use a few 100 sp items to get me through.

Those fights were super easy even with low SP.
Honestly if you picked up Rangda in Palace 6 I think most of the plot bosses are super easy and practically kill themselves

For flu season reaper grinding, does the floor where I wait to fight him matter? And if I get into a fight with the reaper and he isn't in despair, do I have to reload the game or run away and try again?

I don't think it matters but probably safest bet is anywhere starting second "section" beyond (probably best to do a floor right next to a checkpoint so you can leave / save easier)

If you run into him when he isn't in despair just run away and hope he doesnt OHKO you (Having Hifumi's max confidant perks helps a lot with this as you can auto escape...of course he might get first turn as well. I believe you can also change difficulty if you want)

once you escape he will still be there (well you move a little bit and he will pop right back up where you encountered him). Keep attempting until he starts with despair then just guard until he kills himself 3 turns later.

then you have to leave floor and head right back if you want to fight him again

Cool, thanks. I don't think I will do a ton of exploit grinding, just enough to be able to fuse Yoshitsune without having to pay high fees.

Up to you personally I max grinded so I could fuse as many personas for compendium and lower the prices for summoning

also if you want a nice item for the future make sure you at least grind him until you get one or more Divine Pillars. Whether you use them or not is up to you but its prime time to try and get em

I actually got one of them after just defeating him (or watching him die) for first time just now.

I've read the reaper shows up quicker the lower down you go into Mementos.So i'd just go to the lowest floor you can that has enemies and wait there.

I thought it was same throughout and it generally takes him 5 minutes to show up

Successfully solo'd Akechi. Was an interesting challenge, with his constant Tetrakarn being the only thing preventing me from just Hassou Tobi'ing him to death

W..Wait a minute. Ryuji literally just almost died after risking his life to save the entire group. And so they...hit him and then left him lying next to a lightpole in the middle of the night while they went to get food?

Well I guess this party's all right in my book.

Nope. Think of it like Persona 3: Once you've avoided the Bad Ending, you're all set.

There is a true ending.Once you get past the interrogation options there is another one with fake Igor just before the final boss.

Beat the Twins. Level 65 on Normal. Was tricky and I had did some swapping to bring in Ann for Matarunda on the Twins and eventually had to swap out Ryuji for Yusuke for Masukukaja to finally get those last few hits in.

There where multiple occasions where Hassou Tobi whiffed on one of them. Yoshitstune is not a guaranteed win by any stretch of the imagination.

He kept missing that much in the end i had to keep the one low on hp and work on the other.Then pray it hit both when they were low.

are any of the mementos requests missable? i've seen people commenting that it's missable if you don't respond to Mishima's texts but are there any that have deadlines to trigger?

mostly just curious about a really early one (bullies bullies or something) where it only triggers after you finish the first one about bullies.

it actually happened to me and yeah if you don't respond to a text with a quest (like the cats one) you can flat out miss it (but once you respond you can do it whenever)

had to go back a fucking month and a half to grab two of em (and I am not sure if I missed others during this playthrough)...fucking damn it Mishima man

speeding through days without paying attention, probably one of those ones with multiple responses and I thought his was just a meet up so I went with a confidant who shows up less like lwai then just forgot to check it again / I thought the request would just show up again later considering what a Phan Site nut he is and I get mementos reminders from my team every other fucking day

Half the time I don't read Mishima's texts. Mishima's the lame friend nobody wants to hang out with, but doesn't realize it.

I stopped reading basically all texts in the last 2 palaces unless I was forced to lmao.

I think the Mishima Mementos ones all popped up automatically and forced you to read them, but if not then I probably missed a few requests.

I wonder what happens to texts when you choose to spend an entire day with someone when they ask you out. I know I did that once and then reset, so I saw that one text chain ended up being skipped, but I don't know if it pops up the next day or something
