You won't get any boost in EXP when you try to make a Judgement Persona. They thought that one through.

Most (?) of the way through Palace 7, I think. The design of this dungeon is kind of lazy. Really wish they did something more unique than just put a maze between every section.

Yeah this is the exact reason I'm not nearly as high on this dungeon as most others seem to be. It felt more like a chore than anything.

I'll have to say that Palace 7 feels like it goes on for far longer than it should.

I did too, and they're my two favorites. I can see an argument for 5 dragging though.

5 definitely dragged imo. If I wasn't a bit over-leveled I would have hated it (and I still didn't like it too much)

I didn't like P6. Maybe it was because it was a big letdown? And the terminals were annoying

7 felt a little long but I expected that.

I honestly don't remember 1,2 and 3 enough to rank but

5>4>7>6

the game definitely has real pacing problems in the final stretcb. that feeling of palace 7 going on forever extends all the way to the end of the game, unfortunately.

Palace 5's boss was very difficult for me. Usually heal+guard is good enough for the standard boss charge attack, so I didn't expect almighty damage that one-shots everyone through Guard. I know that attack has a gimmick to it but relying on getting ht by an inaccurate status attack and hoping Harisen Recovery never procs is so stupid. Think the balance was a little off for that fight on Hard.

part of my problem with 4 may have been i overlooked where to go so i was kinda stuck for longer than not at all :/

I was underleveled and didn't drop below 100 HP from that attack. Is there supposed to be a gimmick to it?

I never got any of the 2nd palace bosses gimmicks, either. Even underleveled he died so fast that I never saw anything about the ink or the elemental weakness changing thing or whatever else he's supposed to do. Pretty sure that was 5 or 6 turns.

palace 5 spoilers: Okumura can hit you with the hunger status ailment. If you're afflicted by the ailment when the robot does the Big Bang Challenge, it heals you instead of doing damage

Holy **** the events after entering the present events was video game story telling at its absolute finest. I knew and suspected Goro of being the traitor all along like I mentioned in my previous post but, ****, The Phantom Thieves being a step ahead was something I did not see coming. Absolutely brilliant.

I don't care what anyone says, this is one of the greatest games I've ever played in my life and have lived up to the insane expectations that I've had for years after Persona 4 became a Top 4 game for me.

Entering the final Palace and it seems I'm locked out of the only Confidant I have yet to Max out i.e the Moon Arcana. ****that loser Mishima. I guess I have plan things out more so I can get everything in the game on New Game+.

Party Level: 71-73 (used a bit of Reaper exploit)
Money: 3.2 Million Yen (used confuse exploit)
Difficulty: Normal
Requests: 24 completed
Date: December 12
Confidants: All Maxed except the Automatic ones (Fool, Magician, Justice etc) and Moon

When I didn't use the exploit I found myself constantly short on funds. I use Compendium fusion a lot so maybe that's why. The exploit is a very useful one. The exp one as well. I hope these two exploits never get patched. I can't even imagine grinding to Level 99 w/o the Reaper trick.

With regard to pacing, I had no problems. I assume the palaces would take way more time on higher difficulties though. I maxed every Confidant and the game took me 80 hours.

I was feeling really good about ending the game with a good cash reserve for a possible NG+

...Ended up doing some money farming after fusing for some of the higher level stuff. 100k a pop tends to do that.

I should really go and beat the game...I've been right outside the final boss area for like an hour or two grinding even though I probably don't need it. But hey, it'll save me some money on persona fusion!

They made the very last room so godlike for grinding, I can't even believe it. Though I guess it's because it's probably wayyyy past the PONR for stuff like going to fight the reaper...I don't even think I can go to the shops right now.

Finished up Palace 7. That felt sort of...anticlimactic. I know the game isn't over yet, but as far as I'm aware the Shido and Akechi storylines are pretty much wrapped up.

On 12/22. Have a few Mememtos quests to clean up and then needs to grind for some NG+ cash and Futaba lines for that stupid trophy.
