Sure i played the crap out of both and both were awesome but playstation just had better games. I did like n64 not having load times though. Literally "the only Nintendo home console I never bought for my own home" bad. PS1 meanwhile is Sony's 2nd best console, and there's no shame in being 2nd place to the PS2. It was no contest then, it remains no contest. My favorite PS1 games: Suikoden 1, Suikoden 2, The Legend of Dragoon, Command & Conquer Red Alert Retaliation, Eretzvaju, and Wild 9. My favorite N64 games: Smash Brothers and...that's it, really.... I'd get so many games for my PS as gifts and they while the good ones were very good, there were so, so many that were not. For me, N64 was more consistent. On top of that, most of what it does have has been made obsolete by later entries in the series.
