I don't like the Patriots either man but come on he was easily the worst human to ever play for them.

Also, does it bug anyone else that the reason he got Life without parole instead of with possibility of parole is BECAUSE the assumption was he committed other murders...which he then got aquitted of?

That's not to say he didn't deserve it. Just the reasoning for it was complete shit.

This is completely false. The extras required to make it life without parole had nothing to do with the other potential murders.

I've always heard different. Ok, so what were the reasons then?

Again, I have no problem with a murdered getting no parole, I just always had heard the way he got it had to be like borderline unconstitutional.

In Massachusetts, first degree murder automatically removes the possibility of parole, and doesn't require specific extras to meet that criteria.

Oh. Great. I mean, 1st degree should make it auto execution... but Mass of course doesn't have that. Still, more states should adopt the 1st degree=auto harshest penalty no matter what.

Didn't he have an appeal coming up? And Jose Baez (basically the real life Saul Goodman) as his lawyer? He had a puncher's chance at being a free man and playing football for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2019. Don't know why he did this.

that was only one person. And it wasn't Paterno. You could argue that the athletic department and the board of directors didn't do their job, but that wasn't the football team.

UCLA 1960's is the unreachable star for evil to be honest.

It's the worst cheating ever, then it's on an amateur level, there were NUMEROUS murders rapes and other crimes directly from it by Sam Gilbert.

So you have cheating on the level of the Pats* and UNCheat

With crimes committed on the level of Baylor and Penn St.

I honest to god don't think you COULD create a more morally bankrupt sporting thing if you were trying to create one.

Making a noose out of bedsheets isn't exactly hard to do.

Now if a prisoner gives any indication they're contemplating suicide they get put on suicide watch until they're deemed not to be a danger to themselves, but that's not something you can maintain without a reason. Not only because it'd be downright inhumane to do that for no reason, but that's an increase in staff observation per prisoner that's not maintainable (especially if you make it more humane).

I was mostly questioning what he tied the noose onto.

Bars. You don't need a fixture on a ceiling to hang yourself. And apparently in this case he had a cell window he used, so that makes it really simple.
