They put the Saxon in Anglo-Saxon, afterall and as much as 30 percent of our language is derrived from old German. Plus they have some cool words like blitzkrieg and zietgiest. Chinese on the other hand is a total mystery. I feel like i have some familarity with thier culture, but they were never the extreme cultural exporters like the Japanese were.
