I don't like real-life religions directly placed in fantasy settings, since it makes no sense at all. Indirect references to it are fine, in fact excellent when done well (see Lord of the Rings, for instance); but Zelda is nowhere near deep enough for that -- it's a great game, not a philosophical wonder. As far as I am concerned, it was never directly implied, let alone stated, so it never truly had Christianity in it to begin with.
