| Topic | Are there any Zelda fans who wish the series kept Christianity as the religion? |

The thing is, it was never relevant, and outside of this thread I've never seen it discussed in my life. Be honest here, do you really care about this topic? I'll give you my honest opinion. I don't like real-life religions directly placed in fantasy settings, since it makes no sense at all. Indirect references to it are fine, in fact excellent when done well (see Lord of the Rings, for instance); but Zelda is nowhere near deep enough for that -- it's a great game, not a philosophical wonder. As far as I am concerned, it was never directly implied, let alone stated, so it never truly had Christianity in it to begin with. The closest reference was the Sanctuary in Link to the Past, which wasn't even called a "Church". It just was themed after one. --- I am Lord Bowser, King of the Koopas! Bwahaha..
