The government would probably watch your every move or just attempt to steal the Pokemon from you. And if not them, then crazy randos would. I'd take the money. In cities that don't exist in this world. $100M on the other hand is a very real number in a very real currency in this world. Hell, I'd take 100 million yen over a Pokémon. I mean, it's pretty obvious their powers would transfer over to the real world, and work.
