Yesterday's Opponents is another song that surprised me because I only listened to the first 10 seconds or so during nominations. It is also a really messed up song, which is actually a good thing in this context. Unfortunately though its up against Key, whose games actually have really good music I don't care what anyone else says. This is also probably one of the better ones also? Hard to say since they've got a lot of quality songs but this one feels like it has to be up there. Bonus match has a Mega Man song, and to my amazement I actually didn't hate this one at first sight. In fact I rather liked it. It is also against a song which I've way more times than any non-Touhou fan should. (One of my college roommates was a sort-of-Touhou guy and Touhou 6 was the one that taught him to get good at the games) I definitely liked it a lot more the first time I heard it than I do now, but I feel like it still edges out getting my vote here. It is still a pretty good song I guess. --- I guess DpObliVion gets to be in my sig now. Megalopolis is quite legit (I contemplated supporting it in noms) and I yet again nearly betrayed a nomination for it (and one I care for more than most at that. DoD is my personal favourite Bean Dreams song by a noticeable margin and I've really wanted to see it get some exposure for a while now. Well, as much of "a while" as you can really get with a song from a game that only came out a couple of years ago, anyway). Yesterday's Opponents is better than I remember it being. Huh. Also Scene Shifts There isn't exactly anywhere near my favourite Rewrite song, but I do like it a reasonable amount. Good match. I pretty easily went with UN Owen in my bracket (taking it as far as round 4 much to my surprise) and it's still a relatively easy pick today too.
