Hm, when I google it, and it mentions the times and places, there's no mention about either, so I'd assume it's all dub? Since I think the people I'm going with would prefer dub, actually. So if there's a difference, I think they'd rather not accidentally end up at a sub showing.

Really good movie.

Regret watching it in this shit quality. Didn't get to appreciate the animation. It looked gorgeous in the trailer. It looked like shit in the version I was watching.

You can tell this Shikai guy who makes these movies missed out on teenage love in high school and he's trying to relive it through his work.

I thought it was cute as fuck the girl was setting him up on dates with the brunette lol. But the brunette seemed a lot older than him.

Also lol'd hard at how the dude felt himself up every time he was the girl. Dude only stopped when his little sister barged in. Who knows how long he goes at it for. He's prolly like, okay 5 mins for now, and then he gets carried way.

The ending was still pretty sad. Even though they'll probably like each other and get married or something, it's still sad knowing that their memories are gone. I mean it's the directors way of explaining deja vu, coincidences, and familiarity which is pretty cool. But damn, I wish they remembered. Still though, out of the 3 japanese animes i've watched that are like this (garden of words and the girl who leapt through time being the others) this one had the "happiest" ending.

But these type of movies ultimately make me feel like shit because of how much I missed out in high school.

Yeah, I watched a 720p stream lol. Not terrible, but definitely didn't take full advantage of the goddamn gorgeous art. I'd love to see the meteor falling to earth scene in a theater. Coupled with the music...jesus. Also..."You felt me up?!" "..only once!" Me: Suuuuuuure.

Koe no Katachi manga is great. But unless the movie gives the series an ending I can be satisfied with, and isn't just another "here's a summary of the source material" bullshit, I might pass on it.

I'm very picky about my endings, and I had no issues with it. So picky I tend to not watch/read/play things without finding out the ending first, and if it seems sad to me, I do not partake in that media.

Goddamn, people are still talking about this movie? ;_; Now even CE's talking about it. It still baffles me just how popular a gender-swap anime has gotten... It's like the whole world's suddenly developed a fetish for it, or something.
