Been on 2, but I think I was too young at the time to really appreciate them. I'd love to go on one as an adult.

There were waves
Became seasick
Threw up

Unless a Cruise is seasick-proof I am not interested

Went on a cruise and loved it, although basically my favorite thing to do was just to go out on the deck and look out across the ocean. I guess you could do that on a smaller craft. But you also get served some awesome food and can have some interesting ports of call.

went on a cruise a few months ago and it's really not for me.

basically felt like being stuck on a big boat with a bunch of gorging tourists going on half-baked expeditions to 'exotic locales'

i've already traveled a bunch and much prefer doing my own thing at my own pace, getting to live with/like the locals. doing touristy things is fine but i hate being so overt as cruise ships make you. with the cruise you're just a walking money bag once you hit the islands (or at least where i went in the caribbean).

my wife and i were basically like 'never again'. we can see why people enjoy them, but for us it was just a waste of our time and money.

Sounds horrible. I've been to an all-inclusive resort a couple of times and it was pretty good, but it gets old pretty quickly. I wouldn't like to be trapped on a boat with no option to go elsewhere on a whim. If I were the type to enjoy crowds or parties, I'd probably have a different opinion, but I am glad that is not that case.

I liked the cruise I went on. The worst parts of it were the smoking sections on deck (poorly placed on my boat) and how many s***ty vendors and hustlers there are at ports of call. I did excursions every day and I wish I had maybe spent some time on the boat enjoying it a bit more.

Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas is my favorite by the way. It has a mini Central Park with actual trees and all that. Very relaxing to go out there and feel the sea breeze blow through the park

I mean a cruise ship just seems like a floating death prison to me, but I would definitely go once to try it

I've never been to one, but I did go to an all-inclusive Caribbean resort last Christmas, and it was so awesome that I'd probably choose that over a cruise every time.
