It doesn't totally absolve everything he said, but I feel like most of it came from him doing a very poor job at getting his point across. Like, I don't agree with what he said at all, and I think he definitely should have left the debate much sooner before it could escalate to that, but I don't expect anyone who is a total amateur to be able to hold up well in a debate with a guy as good at debating like Destiny who kept trying to back him into a corner.
