What would be the actual result of that? Is that an impeachable offense?

An impeachable offense is whatever Congress decides it is.

So it'd be up to the Republican Congress to decide if it is.

So if Trump was found to have coordinated with Russia to harm hilary's election chances. What would be the actual result of that? Is that an impeachable offense?

The only definition of "impeachable offense" is "whatever the House will vote to impeach for and whatever the Senate will vote to convict". Bill Clinton was impeached for lying about getting a blowy. Trump could murder a 5 year old child and if the GOP didn't want to impeach him he would not be impeached.

I'm guessing you don't live in the United States, Lasa?

nope! i'm dutch.

Hillary lost by the smallest margin in U.S. electoral history. I believe it was something like 100,000 people across a few states that would have swung the outcome in her favor. Pretty nuts. Not to mention she won the actual vote by an insane number of nearly 3 million people.

Trump didn't run on a screw poor people platform -- that's only come after he won the election. He ran pretending he was for working class people and that's what likely won him the presidency in the first place, since many states that were hurting the most from neo-liberal policies switched from Obama to him.

trump also made a f***ing big deal out of lowering taxes though, and we all know lowering taxes screws over poor people. he literally ran on a platform of trickle down economics, even though that failed miserably when reagan did it. i mean yeah, he pretended he was going to help poor people - he didn't literally say "lol i hate poor people and i'm going to screw them over so badly" - but when you looked at the policies he wanted it was clear that he was going to screw over the poor.

but in response to your first point, i didn't realize the outcome was that close, so i'll concede i was wrong about that. guess i listened too much to trump worshipers who went "OMG TRUMP WON IN A f***ING LANDSLIDE" when trump had just won.

They think that because Trump thinks that.

Trump thinks that because he's Trump.

Trump continued to think that when it was pointed out that even from an electoral standpoint, it still wasn't a landslide.

Bernie lost the primary to Hillary.

That alone is evidence that Bernie would have lost even worse than Hillary did.

Projected polls don't mean s***.

Unless you count the Bernie or Bust crowd that threw a tantrum and voted for Trump instead of Hillary, completely missing the point of Bernie's platform.

Then how about the fact that polls also predicted that Hillary would sweep the nation, too?

They were wrong, and there's no reason to believe that the polls predicting that Bernie would win against Trump were right.

Sorry, I was a Bernie supporter who had to deal with lots of bad logic from the Bernie crowd and it's frustrating to see it being repeated after the election.

Well its not going to change any votes but the only time i have been alarmed with Gorsuch thus far was vis a vis Citizens United and the fact that his presence on trumps shortlist was funded by superpac and that that simply didnt bother him.

Having Gorsuch on record as being for unlimited campaign spending and having all the republicans vote for him anything gives the democrats real ownership of that issue which i thought was clever.

And yeah LotM nailed it. Theres basically no viable path for the GOP to really nail it with Obamacare which is just gonna continue to kill them

No it's not. Trump was lying to cover up HIS weakness (his unpopularity). Hillary's perceived weakness was her health, which people had ALL sorts of speculation about. If she comes out and says "I have pneumonia" it plays into the narrative that Hillary is old and weak just like getting caught lying does.
