Yeah, though I shouldn't have fallen for it. Also Lance's actor got listed for this episode despite not appearing at all. It apparently happens from what I hear though. He must've been busy telling people the mayor was on vacation

Aside from Thea, but maybe she doesn't count since she was only signed on for 14 episodes this season. Hoping for like a big unexpected end to the season where Thea decides to come back as Speedy and Roy magically shows up out of nowhere to be part of the team permanently again. This latest episode shows how good the show can be when it's the Oliver show. There was very minimal screen time for the rest of Oliver's team and it was a nice change of pace. It's about time he got the focus of his show again after all that Felicity stuff in the previous seasons.

No, she was listed too actually! But I definitely agree, more Oliver is a good thing, he's always been the strongest character in the show.

Feels like it's taking forever to be Wednesday again.

I really wish I had an easy way to watch Legion. But I'll probably end up waiting for it to come out on Netflix.

And Arrow was a lot better than I was expecting. I was thinking it would be a poor episode, so I'm thankful that they actually defied expectations there. I am still half-expecting it to fly off the rails sometime soon though. Because there's still a lot of outright bad writing involved, but there's enough legitimately good drama in there to be good. Like anything involving Felicity is still pretty awful, but I can at least put up with it to get the rest.

It's a hell of a lot better than her plotlines the last two seasons though

I don't feel like strangling her every episode at least

I just feel it's very unlikely Felicity's plot this season will end at all satisfying. Like she's going to do something terrible but she'll still come out of it unscathed and relatively happy.

Nah man.

She'll like, cry once when it's brought up she'll did a bad thing. So then we know it's really stuck with her.

Edit: Let's put it in a bit of perspective. She has seen more lasting effects from her boyfriend she was barely dating for any amount of time being killed than she has from murdering an entire city full of people.

I feel like that says more about The Flash's villains. I'm pretty sure Diggle and Thea have killed more people than them too among other Arrow characters, but hey they kill people almost regularly.

That's why I'm glad that the villain for next season is said to not be a speedster! And Legends of Tomorrow may be setting up for some shenanigans to make sure that the Rogues are going to be in the next season of Flash!

Can I also say I'm very happy with the way that Legends of Tomorrow went down? Literally the whole season everyone treated Mick like just their tagalong idiot, and only Stein was ever nice enough to sit down and try to treat him like a person. Even then, he only did so half-heartedly it seems. So by the time it turned into "Hey Mick, it's your old buddy Snart! Remember when I treated you like a friend? That was cool, right? I also noticed nobody treats you like an equal and just a grunt. Wouldn't you want to be a somebody again?" And so he turns to the side of evil. And earlier in that episode, they had everyone go "Mick, you moron. How could you tell suddenly real Snart all of our information? Jeez man." And it just felt totally justified for him.

But by far the best part is that a couple people go "God, Mick is such a dummy! That piece of trash turned on us!" And then a couple other people go "Yeah, but we screwed up and refused to treat him like a member of the team because he's a thug!" And then everyone goes quiet when they realize they're right. They could have easily have made all of the Legends trash Mick and say how much he sucks and how they had no part in him turning on them, but they begrudgingly admit they had a part in it.

And imagine the stuff they could do with The Flash next season with this. "Snart, this isn't you! You sacrificed yourself! You changed for the better!" and Snart just says whatever to that. But Mick? Mick has a lot more conflict there. So what I'm rooting for is that Snart double crosses the villains with Mick, giving Snart what he wants (life and to not be an anomaly) and leaves Darhk dead (because who cares about him?), Merlyn still a broken man who can't change his past to be more successful, and Reverse-Flash still having to find another way to outrun Black Flash. What I don't want is for Snart and Mick to go back to the good side.

Just a few more days until more episodes. I saw someone somewhere say Arrow's season finale is ep22, but every season has had 23 so far. Haven't really found a confirmation anywhere about 22 being the season finale

I made the mistake of watching the recent supergirl episode because the Flash episode made it a point to say 'Previously on Supergirl...'. Instead of any meaningful connection, what I got was plot revolving around Kevin Sorbo and his lady friend attempting to convince some random pretty boy that maybe plaid can be fashion on their home planet of notkypton. The B-plot involved some power ranger alien reject chick and art.

Glibness aside, it was alright, and has convinced me that maybe I should give Supergirl a chance. I just wish it had been more strongly connected to the Flash episode it got paired with.

As for that Flash episode, pretty underwhelming. It was cool hearing the vocally gifted of the cast have at it (and probably most of the reason for their random appearances), but I wasn't invested in the plot at all. The songs weren't very inspired either. Super Friends probably makes it to the top, not for quality, but for charm.

Pretty much all Supergirl parts of crossovers have been incredibly uninvolved. Like for the major Supergirl-Flash-Arrow-Legends crossover, Supergirl was just its standard episode. Only "crossover" aspects were like random 1-sec universe breachs by Flash that the cast would just "wtf"... and then the end of the episode Flash finally breached through and asked Supergirl for help.

Fun Fact!: Rachel Bloom (the chick from Crazy Ex Girlfriend) also happened to write the only charming song, Superfriends!

And Supergirl has some wild highs and lows. When they hit the lows, the show is barely watchable. It's usually telling when the best Supergirl episodes are the ones that don't have James Olsen in them.

So I was legitimately horrified when the first scene with Alex, Maggie, and the ex happened. I thought this was going to be another horrible, awful insecurity storyline with Alex getting jealous. I am so glad they went in a surprisingly good direction with it that was actually enjoyable to watch.

That Legends episode was fun but very silly. I guess they're not going to even attempt to explain why Flash and Arrow aren't in that other reality? And I thought Eobard's whole goal in getting the spear was to rewrite reality so he really exists, so why would Black Flash still be after him?

Legends was hilarious with the whole Near high five between Citizen Steel and Damien Darkh. Even Damien was like "NIce!" when he knocked back Eobard with the spear.

Flash once again teases Savitar's identity.. and then doesn't reveal it. And now we have to wait a month for the next episode.

At least izombie is back next week. But are they just not going to pair it with anything while Flash is on break?

And finally got around to catching up on Legion after watching the first episode back when it aired. Holy shit this got good/beyond bizarre/wtf is going on. Cannot wait for the finale tonight.

If the other Legion members really want to get rid of Thawne, seems like it should be pretty easy through a mixture of Darkh's magic and the Black Flash. Just have Darkh hold him in place while Malcolm releases the wraith and wow dead Thawne. In fact it seemed silly this episode that they showed Darkh had his magic back, but then he was content to just stand idly by while things with the spear happened. Oh well.

Also, if Amaya stays dead, aside from meaning that entire Vixen web show is erased from existence, it would also mean that she wasn't there to help Oliver and crew arrest Darkh and thus Laurel wouldn't have died in prison! Buuut since her being dead does screw with things, I'm sure she'll be brought back when the Legends fix reality next episode.

So my hope for the identity of Savitar.

Eddie Thawne's dead/dying self being sucked into the time warp at the end of season 1. Everyone forgets about him and Barry's the big hero who gets his girl while he's forced to keep running for eternity to keep Barry as a hero. Hence why he hates Barry so much, and why he would want to take away the love of his life.

Also, Legends was great. But Mick saves the day and they treat him like shit again! Come on guys! I have no idea how this show will end, but that last scene was all kinds of incredible.

But that's not how time travel works. You can only travel to times and places that would be deemed interesting by a majority of early 21st century americans or are easy to make costumes for because those spots are special or something. You try and go to just-before-WWI France, and the timeline will yawn itself out of existence!

So at some point after the first week of Legion being out, they started adding all of episodes on Hulu! It wasn't on it a week after the show was out so I thought they didn't have the rest of it. And since I've been binging back to back mystery thriller shows, I look forward to binging this hard for something different!
