I might have just gotten lucky but I had a lot of luck with these by doing the following:

Warp to... Hebra Tower, I think it was. Really close by is a house (It's where the Snow Bowling minigame is.) You can sleep in the bed for free to change the time. Make it night and then I suppose you could just wait. Personally I was actually doing all this to farm parts from Dinraal so I'd jump down a bit towards the canyon and wait near the edge. I never actually intended on Star Fragment farming but I'd see shooting stars at a pretty high rate so I could grab those as a bonus. But again, maybe it was luck, I don't know what the mechanics behind shooting stars are.

Oh yeah, thanks for that Rock. It doesn't seem to work 100% of the time, but I was able to get a few fragments that way and fully upgrade my guardian armor.

I know of one Star Fragment that's really easy to get

(minor gameplay spoilers)

Go to Lurelin village. Feed the dog there enough food until he befriends you. He'll lead you to a buried treasure chest with a fragment inside.

I had two fragments from just regular gameplay, so that third was all I needed to finish the Ancient set. Still haven't gotten another but I haven't been looking.

There's... 7? 8? that can be gotten from just completing sidequests or finding chests.

One you get for helping a kid with Octorok Balloons. Another you get for showing some girl your master sword (both of these are at stables).

Well, I went and bought a Link amiibo because of this game. I'm not sure if I want to use it though. It seems like cheating a little. I might save it for a replay.

The amiibos just pile up your crowded inventory space. I'd say the Zelda ones are the only OP ones because it's nice to have good shields and the TP one has a good bow (so I hear, I don't have it). I go days without scanning them.

I think I've only broken a shield once due to normal use (rather than a guardian laser)

I did the big Labyrinth. I feel like this would have been much easier if I had done the tower first and gotten the map, although probably not as much fun

Right now the only time I'm playing is in small spurts at work from like 2AM to 5AM when it's not busy. Too many other games to play when I'm at home. Fortunately it's portable and I can have it at work!

Got the TotW fully upgraded! Time to head to Ganon! I have mixed emotions about finally being at the end. Like I think I'm ready but at the same time I'm kinda sad it'll be over. I probably won't play anymore after I beat it. 155+ hours is pretty damn good and I have so many other games to get to.

After you beat it, do another run straight off the plateau to Ganon. It's great.

Welp. I beated the game. End was good, no follow up to anything but I guess it isn't too surprising given how the game is. Calamity Gannon was fugly holy s***. I've got mixed feelinf about his design... Like I get the sheikah stuff but at the same time I don't. I still don't understand why he was able to take over and manipulate sheikah tech, as it was never given any kinda explanation. Oh, and the fight was piss easy, unfortunately. Dark beast fight was just ok but he looked cool at least. Amazing game overall. 10/10 for me. Probably one of my top 3 games of all time now.

^ I've considered it. Idk if I wanna do it immediately though.

I just got the Ancient Bow last night. Haven't used it, but from the description, I assume it makes farming certain scales/horn shards much easier?

Zora and Goron down, headed down to Gerudo Desert. I feel so far away from the rest of the world, it's awesome.

When I'm a little farther, I'm going to see if I can glide from Death Mountain to Hyrule Castle.

The Hyrule Castle memory informs us that they were able to control the beasts/guardians, so all Ganon had to do was overpower those who were controlling them.

I've slowed down since beating the game last week. But I love that I can fire the game up and play half an hour and run into a shrine and beat it. It fits my schedule pretty well.

I have something like 650 Koroks now (using a map to clean up now that I've done an initial pass through everything). Almost all of my armor is at least level 3 (besides some of the tiaras and maybe one or two other pieces).

I beat my second dungeon (Zora) over the weekend. It was even smaller and simpler than the Rito dungeon. I enjoyed what puzzles were there, but there really is nothing unique about the interior of these divine beasts. Who will remember them years from now?

Still, the overall game is so goddamn fun that the dungeons are merely bonuses, and I can overlook their shortcomings.

I have an soft spot for giant beasts, so I think these dungeons are pretty cool with how you move them around. Plus I probably don't hold dungeons in as high a regard as most Zelda fans anyway.

I think the most fun part of the game for me so far was entering the Zora dungeon.
