Ugh... I had to complete Eventide Island twice because I put one of the orbs in the wrong place. If there was some way to get back up the mountain with it, there wouldn't have been a problem, but I couldn't find any.

At least the second time I was able to speed through it in a few minutes since I knew where everything was. Compared to all my random wandering about the first time.

I did Eventide yesterday with pretty much no trouble. Most annoying part was killing the Hinox (which technically I didn't need to do, but did it anyway).

I accidently did when I panicked in that basement area with all the Guardian's in the labyrinth. When you go and pick up the treasure in the middle, I had like 4 lasers targetting me and I freaked out and threw the Master Sword, but then it didn't go anywhere. I was confused and then died.

Is there a secret to completing Mirro Shaz Shrine - Tempered Power? For the bonus at the end of the shrine, I'm sledgehammering this ball across the room and it just keeps barely missing the hole and then launching up and beyond the rim, at least for the times I'm actually able to line up my shot pretty good. Man, this is frustrating. I've been at it for about an hour and a half now.

Thanks! I actually just wound up checking the Zelda board and tried a couple methods there. The one that wound up working for me was 5 times with the sledgehammer and once with a one-handed sword. I thought I was screwed since it came up short, but then it wound up bouncing in anyway. Yay!

Still clearing out the southeastern parts of the map since there's no primary dungeon there.

Gonna sweep up north and finish exploring Zora's Domain and the sidequests there next before heading to Death Mountain.

Full map unlocked. Have about 4 shrines that I've mapped out that I could see, which would put me at 61 shrines. It's crazy to think that I've only done half.

Killed my first Guardian!

Wasted two pretty decent shields doing it, though :/

oh man speaking of killing guardians I just destroyed a whole room filled with like 8 of them with ease, without Ancient weapons (okay sans 2 that I just sniped with my only 2 ancient arrows)

although again to be fair all but 2 of them had no legs and thus easier to kill (only 500hp even!)

BUT STILL, TACTICS

basically just shoot 'em in the eye with a standard arrow as they're aiming for you, and that gives you time to chop chop chop chop until they start aiming again, shoot an arrow again, repeat... with the guardians that still had legs I just prioritized chopping those off right away and then repeat the same tact. I didn't realize non-ancient weapons can still cut off their legs!

also if you ever want that good location of Guardians, I mentioned it before, basement of the Lomei Labyrinth Island way up top-right of the map.

Not sure; I just killed this one to see if I could

On another note, I seem to get cramped hands much more often with the switch controller (mostly playing with the grip) than with controllers for other systems. Pretty annoying.

Getting arrows the best, just instakill the hell outta the Hyrule Castle so you don't have to stealth around.

Also gotta get + upgrade all the armor! That's what I'm currently collecting Gears for.

They are not. I was on an Ancient Core grinding kick for a few days there, and the only Guardians that can possibly drop them are the walking ones, so the only ones in the labyrinth are the one in front and the two underneath. And if you try to go back underneath to get those, all the dormant, stationary ones that started out asleep are no longer asleep, so right when you land, you've got 4 lasers pointed at you.

Oh btw, I really, really like how shooting an "organic" enemy with an Ancient Arrow (I only tried this on a Lynel but I assume it's no different on any non-Guardian mob) just vanishes them to another dimension without giving you any of their drops. No free lunches!

She's above the top level on the spire. Easiest way to to travel to the top of the spire (if you have beaten the dungeon, this is easy) and fly down to her
