All of my rage then synced up with me as I read this

so as I went along, I fought many tough enemies. god damn. They were wearing me down and I was forced to use alot of healing magic. it really sucks this game doesn't have MP recovering items.
at least not that i know of >_> LOL

eventually I found this chest but LOL THIS GAME HAS ONE MORE HARDSHIP FOR ME

DARK FORCE

God dammit this guy was hard. he would "turn allies to evil" and incapacitate them in some way. then he would do a move that takes like 2/5s of my life. I eventually beat him by smacking him around alot but I was forced to retreat afterwards

I healed and found my way back to that spot, I continued and FOUND MOTHER BRAIN

shes hawt

I confronted and defeated her, and people were freed ! YAYY

wait, I just brought in a technological dark age, didn't I? >_>

and then afterwards

IT WAS EARTHLINGS ALL ALONG

My bland benched party members show up to help, and we all get bum rushed by hundreds of earthlings

AAAAAND THE GAME EEEEENDS

I GET PUT ON THE JOB OF SOLVING THE WORLD MONSTER PROBLEM, AND I"M PROBABLY ON MINIMUM WAGE

I SOLVE IT, BUT MY HAWT CHICK DIES

I SAVE THE PLANET BY RELEASING THE DAMS

ANOTHER PLANET BLOWS UP

WE SAY F*** THE BULL S*** AND KILL THE THING THATS INCHARGE OF EVERYTHING

WE BRING IN HARDSHIPS FOR THE PLANET FOR YEARS TO COME (though honestly this might be for the better)

THEN WE GET ATTACKED BY HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS OF EARTHLINGS AND PROBABLY ALL DIE BECAUSE WE"RE JUST PEOPLE FROM THE FUTURE AND THE GAME HASN"T REALLY ESTABLISHED WE"RE FORMIDABLE FIGHTERS. WE JUST HAVE TECHNOLOGY THAT MAKES US GREAT. AND THESE EARTHLINGS PROBABLY HAVE TECH THATS EQUAL TO OURS

BUT THERES MORE OF THEM SO WE ALL GET MURDERED AS THAT PRETTY BOY JUST WATCHES US. AND HE HAD THE POWER TO TELEPORT US AWAY. I MEAN, HE APPARENTLY TELEPORTED MY OTHER PARTY MEMBERS HERE. SO HES A BIG JERK ASS APPARENTLY

SO YEA

okay, this is what happened

I started exploring south of the resort town and found ANOTHER town with super EXPENSIVE armor (like at LEAST 5k a pop)

luckily the resort town only sold like one piece of armor and this town seems to sell the OTHER pieces

I would've raged of this armor was a whole new set, which would've meant that I wasted my money in the resort town

ANYWAYS, I start exploring and then I find this building

this building is the ONLY thing thats down here

so I wander around and it grows more and more apparent that this place is some sort dump. literally. They're processing garbage here

and there are little raincoat wearing midgets everywhere that are DIGGING through it

whatever, if it tickles their pickle

so I start wandering around some more and I realized, this place is VERY linear

then I reach the end. Theres one of those midgets at the dead end. he says "Wanna eat some cake?"

I eat it, get a stomachache, lose HP

and thats it

I SERIOUSLY WOULDV'E PREFERRED A PASSAGE WAY THAT LEADS ME OUTSIDE

the last time I had to examine something in a dungeon, it completely resembled EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WAS IN THE DUNGEON, I just randomly hit examine on it >_>

So I'm here in bed looking at my phone and I decide to look at this topic one last time and then I see this comic!

Phantasy Star II, in general, is hilarious. Like, it's so bad by current standards, but if you put it next to, like Dragon Warrior II or Final Fantasy I, it's a pretty noticeable step up. But I went through some of the same issues -- knowing to go around the entrance at Roron, not being able to figure out where the recorder was in the Biosystems Lab, etc.

Also, Headrots. Goddamn, freaking headrots.

You really have to get Shir to level 10 and run in and out of the tower until she steals the VISIPHON. I'm absolutely bewildered that they thought it would be a good idea to make an item that let you save anywhere, and then made it a secret.
