I agree with the point made earlier that the current base ability is not very good. I think it deserves better, maybe something involving taking the quote more literally, like giving a target a huge morale drop and everyone on their team forgetting what they're capable of and them refusing to tell them. Though that doesn't exactly sound all that great either.

I agree with it being not great, I just wanted to retool it. Perhaps retool Soul Steal to target a random enemy mercenary that'll drain their soul and classify them as Undead, essentially giving Dracula his previous Soul Steal ability but making it target an enemy and combo into Servant of Castlevania. Give an upgrade with severely reduced recharge to just change a pre-selected target to Undead.

Here's what I've come up with for a new Drac ability:

"What is a man?" (Pre-Battle, Recharge whatever) - Once every ____ weeks, Dracula can ask a preselected human enemy the hard questions.

"A miserable little pile of secrets!" (Trigger) - If the target of "What is a man?" uses any abilities, they will be so perplexed by Dracula's philosophical quandary that the target of their abilities will become random (Pre-battles used before "What is a man?" will not retroactively change targets, but Start of Battles will have their new target rolled once rosters are revealed). The new target will remain a secret until both ability phases are done, and if the ability in question already had a random target, the user's human allies will be added to the target pool.

"A cesspit of hatred and lies!" (Trigger) - If the target of "What is a man?" is rostered without using any abilities, they will become scornful of their allies. While they will not purposefully impede them, they will lose the Ideal Teammates Clause in battle that week, and respond to anything with the opposite of the truth, with the rest of the team not necessarily aware of this.

While I like it, I would put in either a VERY cheap upgrade or just add it to the base that Dracula can see the "secret". Leaving things up to pure chance both feels un-Dracula and is just outright bad (as someone who relied on luck quite a bit, I can say that pretty well). Drac's leader should at least be able to plan around it based on the new target.

For the sake of discussion, let's move on, though I think a polished version of that Drac ability I wrote would be a good replacement.

If you think O&S are in any way overpowered with their abilities, just remember that some people actually voted they'd lose to Bub in the side topic.

Why remove ability deflection? When I owned them it was literally the only thing that made them worthwhile, plus we've already gotten predetermined rulings straightening it out?

Proposed change to Dracula's writeup: "Dracula is as he appears in Order of Ecclesia, with access to all his attacks and techniques, including Demonic Megido."

I think this is a good base because it's Dracula at arguably his most powerful and he's humanoid for the entire fight. Character upgrade can give him access to the forms from the HoD in his current writeup.
