Not only are they fantastic on they're own, they are also a component in many pastries and sweets I simply cannot do without. Giving up eggs also means giving up the best breakfasts, cookies, and cakes unless I use some sort of egg substitute, which... no. Just no.

Giving up eggs does not mean giving up cookies and cakes, as it's not really the reason why you'd eat them. You would not be able to eat eggs for breakfast (scrambled, omelets, in a sandwich, etc.), but eggs in baked things is fine.

Only certain kinds of cookies. Thicker cookies like snickerdoodles have eggs; chocolate chip cookies do not.
The problem is my food (chicken) is in so many things where it is the point of the dish, so I was tempted to reject, but let's be serious - not eating a food? I'd do that. My price is $750,000.
