Natsuyuki 2 - Eh, this wasn't as good as episode 1. Or maybe I just reacted more positively to this because anime like this is kind of rare. If I read the manga, I probably wouldn't have found it as special. But yeah, the main dude is still too bland and the ghost was just kind of obnoxious this episode.

E7 AO - back to being dumb already lol

KoiChoco 2 - Didn't have anything as stupid and ridiculous as the scene in Ep 1 but otherwise, I actually liked the boring harem parts more than the boring harem parts in the first episode. Still, they're boring harem parts but for some reason, I feel compelled to continue this.

Binbougami ga! 2 - Not as funny as the first episode. The part where Sakura summoned those animals was pretty great though.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous 2 - I wasn't even a fan of the first episode, but I guess it was about the same. I think it moved through the episode better without spending half of it on self inspection or whatever.

Imouto 2 - Most of the shows still have episode 2 for me to watch, but this is already looking like it'll be the biggest improvement over episode 1.

Who Is Imouto? ep2 - Mister X should just replace all the waifus. Passable enough to save it from being dropped this week.

Hagure Yuusha ep2 - Oh ya bullying...until he made the girls go to the bathroom. Welp.

Campione ep2 - Fight was the only ok thing in the episode. Sudden personality switch was pretty dumb too.

Accel World now has had OPs and EDs by KOTOKO and Altima.
show's got good taste in who they pick. this half of the season also looks to actually be... dare i say, interesting. OP seems to suggest there's a good 8 or so new characters to introduce.

of course the short fat guy will be the harem lead.
can't suspend my disbelief enough for that.

Kokoro Connect 2 - Way better than episode 1. This serious part of the plot is definitely going somewhere dumb and I can't wait to see where. Got a better feel for the characters here too and there were actually jokes.

That Becky transformation was something else. The combination of CGI stiffness and... well, let's just call it like it is -- tentacle groping and staff grinding -- was downright awkward. But I'd be lying if I said I don't want to see it again. Gawking at a car crash sort of thing.

It's certainly worth rewatching. I've been hard to please recently, so this one (and Casshern Sins) are probably the two best shows I've seen in months. Contrast that with all these.

All couldn't last more than an episode or two recently. Some didn't last half. Eden's certainly a keeper.

Well you shouldn't really feel too bad about giving up since the R+V, Negima, and Excel Saga animes are all pretty bad and butcher their respective series beyond recognition.

I mean it's not awful (I'd say like a 4/10 so far) but I dunno. It just feels so bland and has felt like a generic fantasy anime with MMO elements shoehorned in. Granted, they apparently covered an entire novel in this one episode but still. The pacing isn't really even the issue. There just doesn't seem to be anything at all to set it apart from any given shounen. It feels kinda soulless as well but that could be the adaptation.

It is the adaption.

The first episode was a decent adaption despite leaving a lot of the world-building out.

But this one cut out a lot and it really suffered for it.

I'm not sure if I'll ever read the books but if the show stays this way for another episode or so, I'll probably drop it regardless.

It is way too high atm. I'd give it like a 7/10 (with my inflated scores) so far and I its prob my fav ln of the ones I read. It could still get better though and Im hoping it does.

I see. I'm about 2 hours into it and it's pretty cool so far. I have played a bit of Ys I (a while back) and uhh. . . whichever one was for the SNES I played pretty extensively when I was younger. although since I'm not really one of those people who obsesses about having to play all the games in a series or in order it doesn't make a difference to me at all really.
