Orianna buff is a step in the right direction.
Malphite and gold items not nerfed enough.
Malphite has been nerfed plenty. I agree with the 3 instead of 4 seconds on Ground Slam's attack speed reduction but that ratio nerf is just a little bit too much. Meh just means people will build tanky AD Malphite more if they are smart.

The problem is a majority of AD champions can become poke champs. Ashe, Cait, Trist.
They can unleash poke as you run up and try to harm their support.
All the while you are contending with creeps if you just walk up to a Soraka.
I just don't think this is a good plan tbh.

1.Tristana's not a poke champion until level 8-9. Blitz has literally no fear of her until then.
2.Ashe dunks Blitz. Period. When he speeds up she Volleys. If he grabs her support she ults the enemy carry. Ashe is just so defensive that she infuriates alot of comps. It's why she's such a neutral pick bottom lane unless Vayne grabs Cleanse.
3.The most under-rated portion of Blitz isn't the grab, it's the threat of it. As long is Blitz is in the bush his carry has the greatest protection of all time and can farm safely.

AD Malphite works wonders but runs out of mana FAST.
AP Malphite worked because you could just buy 2 dorans and Sorc Boots and spam Q/E without ever really worrying about them hurting you back because his AS reduction lasted 4 seconds. FOUR SECONDS. That's 2 attacks when his E is on you.

Nerfs on his E. Course then I found out it is getting 0.2 AP ratio to make up for it going from 0.5 to 0.3 on armor. So nvm Tanky AP still better for some stuff. The time nerf on his E will hurt his ability to own as AP though and his main owning as AD was from ult>W>AA while they are in the air so that hasn't been nerfed at all and will therefore be relatively improved(not necessarily better then tanky AP though) compared to tanky AP cause the E nerfs don't affect tanky AD as much as tanky AP.

So from what I've been hearing, Evelynn and Xin Zhao are back in a big way and will probably dominate blind pick for a long time. At least they can be nerfed without being made useless now. Opinions are mixed on Twitch, a lot of people are crying "NERFED" but that happens all the time. Apparently the lose of base damage on Expunge hurt.
Zyra is ass, apparently. Her damage is bad and her plants are stupid when it comes to targeting. They don't last very long, nor do they have a lot of health. A lot of focus on the mechanic and not a lot of pay off. Maybe she just takes time to use correctly, but the general consensus is that she'll need a hotfix.

My take on Zyra is that she'll see some use as a supporter. I can see her being very useful for harassing bottom lane until they cry, and then starting to roam after she hits 6-8. I could also see her being useful for ambushing certain junglers (Amumu, Warwick, Cho'Gath to name a few)..

Just looking at Zyra, I feel like if you spam her seeds all over the place (do they cost any mana? doesn't look like it), you could do some intricate zoning and if you're really up on your micro you could avoid buying as many wards as mid. Spamming seeds everywhere would give you flexibity, and I feel like it could be strong in the right hands. It's just not ridiculous bursty damage like everyone has come to love with APs.

He's slow unless he spams abilities. spamming makes him blue dependent. This is a bad thing.

Zyra will need a few weeks for people to actually come to a good conclusion on her. I don't buy people calling her weak at this stage, not when she's so different and probably hard to master. This has happened before.

Zyra's base stats are below average for mages, and she has no effective stats on her kit. I obviously don't know how good she is, but that's almost certainly the reason she feels weak to people. Her passive being a contender for worst in the game doesn't help either.
Xin is going to be a nightmare on dominion. He might be worse than monkey king. Maybe as good as poppy.

Zyra's ultimate, when combined with Galio's and/or Amumu's, could make for some crazy combos.
Can the seeds/plants be targetted by Orianna's ball or, say, Janna's Shield? I suppose I have the same question for Heimer's turrets, since I've never really played him much either. And speaking of Janna, if Janna ults and an enemy Heimer turret / Zyra plant is in range, does it get moved?

All the trolls and bad players are worth it for those times when you get a solid party who helps you wards, doesn't over-react to every death, shows up for the timers you keep track of, and uses your wards to counter jungle properly.
People are slowly learning to stop look at kills as the sole factor of who's winning and realizing that even if you're down 3-4k gold you can still win if you play better.
I know my next 3 games will be filled with people yelling at every death, panicking about that death so they don't ward because "they need the gold to do big damagez", and general dickishness, but it's ok.

I disagree on the lag thing. In that video Corki was basically walking straight the entire time. Even if there's lag, he still would've been hit by the arrow on his end.
I've had Ashe arrows completely miss look like they hit, and 'Mumu bandage tosses miss even though the other half is obviously through the victim's other side. Also had the opposite problem,though. This is nothing new, though.
