The rain was actually what helped Djokovic go on that run yesterday. Not the delay itself, but the fact that they were playing in the rain for an hour made the conditions a lot more favorable for Novak.

I'll never understand why there's no grass court Masters 1000 event. Should drop one clay court event to create the space for it. Though it is kind of cool that grass is used only at Wimbledon among notable tournaments (and Queen's/Halle, but they're 250s, two steps below Masters 1000 level).
