Sometimes you do get some well-choreographed ones, but usually the results aren't too satisfying.

So I read Elfen Lied in a day or three. I never touched it because I thought it was like, say, Gantz in spirit. But no, no mindless violence. Just lot's of weird, exploitative shots, an unlikely storyline that's so convenient in countless ways but tons of good, too! It's exciting and addictive, and I had a good time reading it.


Anyone have anything to recommend?

In an SBS question Oda said normal One Piece humans have a limit of 140 years, and super humans beyond that. (Dr. Kureha is 135, but she's still a long ways away from dying)

Looks like Fairy Tail will be in filler at least most of next season as well. Lol that slideshow. Samuel down and Gajeel's Team found the part. Lets see, what's left to be resolved. The Strauss family vs. that girl who was a boy in Edolas. Erza and co. with The Jiggle Butt Gang. Now Byro vs. Natsu's Team. Though, this arc could easily make more, once again.

New Kuroko was awesome. Kuroko finally getting bacck at Takao and in the end he also owns Midorima.

Next time we get to see Aomine, another one of the Generation of Miracles, as well as some hot pink haired chick who's in love with Kuroko. Sounds great.

Read the last chapters of Nurarihyon and Magico.

Kind of a shame about Nura; it had a pretty structured story that could have ended properly in a year anyway.

I actually kind of like the whole premise for the final battle in Magico, but trash series is trash series no matter how you slice it.

Yeah there was a lot of good things about it, pace picked up, plot is moving forward, introduction of several more AB, including the old male generation.

The AB, and male generation is the big point for me, just because the aren't hostile and it would be interesting to see their role. Especially the males, since we haven't seen many of them, and Isley and Rigaldo were bad ass.

Then of course the impending battle with Cassandra and Priscilla, and soon to be Clare's revival. Best chapter for Claymore in a long, long time.

I found the male AB to be fascinating because I had no idea there were any left.

Well, to be honest, for me, it feel Claymore is very much on the verge of ending. This current Arc should be ending pretty soon(Though with only 12 chapters per year it could go on for another 3 years...). They could always do one more arc, because it could always explore the other lands, but I think that's very unlikely.

I'm hopeful that Cassandra puts up a fight, along with the other AB's, but yeah, it's Priscilla. >_>

The opening really is amazing and I'd say that judged by the endings, the odds for a potential second opening to be just as great are really low. Therefore they should just play it safe and have this.
