I'm pretty skinny and I wear them at home all the time, not really outside though even when it is hot. Mostly because I have an extreme farmer's tan.

Oh and I wear them when playing basketball too

This pretty much. If you wear a tank top or any otherwise sleeveless shirt outside your dwelling for any reason other than exercise etc, you look like trash.

Sleeveless shirts are nice for exercise as has already been mentioned.

Nuffin' else. Nuffin' muffin', they're awful. Like I have this one that's like two sizes too big, like a skater t-shirt, and that one's ok (as opposed to those that are extremely tight which are awful) but I still wouldn't wear it out anywhere.
