Just started the other night, quite fun. Doing Monk (I'm always my friends group stock holy warrior) and it's far more fun than paladin in D2. Great atmosphere so far too, love it.

Hit level 41 last night with my Witch Doctor, and I'm getting close to the end of Act 2 NM. Having a hard time getting a good skill setup that I'm happy with and that's useful. I end up changing it a lot based on who I'm playing with, but I guess that's sort of the point.

New build almost regenned life quickly enough to beat Belial without even attempting to dodge any of his attacks. Got him to about 5% life sitting in a corner shooting him endlessly, I suppose I'll have to put a little effort into fighting him. D:

But it's not silly to want cool items while you aren't Act 4 Inferno farming - it's cool that you are already there but uh I think that's atypical and having boring items when you aren't farming endgame is atypical of the Diablo experience.

I don't know, beyond Act 1 normal I always thought I was finding cool and useful items, at least cool for that level.

I won't be at Inferno for awhile yet, waiting for Red to catch up to me...!

But I know what you are saying, and what I am saying is if you want those awesome items they are available to you - if you grind like crazy. Just like they have always been.

They were always available if you didn't grind like crazy. Maybe it's their way of putting some gear focus into LLD whenever that comes out, I dunno, but it doesn't mean the items aren't underwhelming to me. I like cool stuff!

Well, let's consider what we have left.

1. Adria is still alive
2. Imperius is still alive
3. The Black Soulstone fell back to Sanctuary

I could see either Adria or Imperius merging with the stone. More likely would be Imperius. They built him up quite a bit and then did nothing with him in the end. But either way, with the Black Soulstone still out there, there's a lot of possibilities.
