I'm not sure which part of this post is worst, the racism, the ignorant smacktalk, or the misinformation. It manages to be wonderfully terrible all around!

1. LoL is dumbed down compared to HoN/DotA. There's no stacking, there are no denies, there are no heroes like Chen/Ophelia and Beastmaster/Tundra or items like Necronominicon/Puzzlebox that allow you control of multiple units (with abilities), and you aren't punished nearly as harshly for dying. Getting rid of mechanics/making them less punishing makes it more accessible for people. I'm not saying the game is bad for it, I'm just saying that it's dumbed down in comparison to HoN/DotA.

2. Have you never played HoN and run into groups of people who do nothing but spam "HUEHUEHUE" and call people "noob" constantly before? While I'm certain there are plenty of well-mannered Brazilian people, never have I seen people of a single nationality be such jack-asses so consistently in an online game. In LoL, thankfully, I've avoided getting matched up with anyone of that sort.

Now, if I've somehow failed to address whatever you perceived as being the "ignorant smacktalk" or "misinformation," feel free to point it out to me.

Just speaking for myself, HoN was just a stand-in until Dota 2 arrived. I was tired of playing Dota through the 3rd party sites for a proper stat system, and HoN seemed decent enough, plus my friends were on there, so I switched to that. I never really got hooked on HoN like I did with Dota.

And I've been trying to quit (or at least cut-back on) Dota 2 for awhile, which I haven't played for about a week. I've found a way to keep myself occupied.
