I certainly enjoyed that movie a fair shade more than the Giratina one. At least I can sympathize with the pokémon protagonist in this one. One problem though: it's the same recycled motivation. "OMG, the human I trusted betrayed me! Never gonna trust humans again, lolz!" Lucarceus still better than b**** Shaymin and effin' Manaphy though.
FalconPain posted... The heroes are momentarily happy to see Dialga, but Giratina appears out of another portal and attacks it. This doesnt really make sense, since they-- oh screw it. Which part? If it's about the attack... uh... Giratina attacking Dialga and its reasons for doing so was kinda the catalyst for the previous movie, and it was strongly implied that when it left, it was still looking for Dialga or Palkia.
Then it tells the heroes that they have a beautiful world, and that its happy to be a part of it, before it leaves into its own dimension to not return for thousands of more years and interact with the human world as little as possible. I'm a bit less upset about this than I was with Regigigas, because at least you got the idea that Arceus felt like hanging out with Damos for a bit during the flashbacks. It could always find an excuse to return later.
Other things that deserved at least a sentence or two worth of jokes: * The series actually made an attempt, successful or otherwise, to convince everyone that they need to add an unevolvable Pichu to their party/card collection/want list simply because it has a notch in its ear. * Johto starter inanity. * "Magical creature". Suffice to say, there are very few people in the movie who actually use the word Pokémon, probably because they haven't figured out how to put a mon into a Poké yet. * Heatran. Actually, the fact that it showed up and there was nothing to say about it speaks for itself.
Hell, I did forget to mention Heatran. Ah well. I cut the Johto starters out on purpose because I had nothing funny to say about them, and honestly, I only realized that was a spiky-eared Pichu after I looked up information on the movie on Bulbapedia.

Wow. It sounds like significantly less happened in that movie than in others you recently reviewed. Or maybe the plot just wasn't near as convoluted as that of the others.

The plot is actually fairly straightforward if you ignore problems with time travel (I have a rule that I normally just ignore any problems with time travel as long as it's consistent, even if it's completely illogical, because it's one of those things that just isn't worth attacking).

Anagram posted... This is the worst kind of movie, one thats boring and has nothing to make jokes about. Sorry, its just kind of there. It doesnt even have any funny frames to take out of context other than the watermelons. Its not even that bad, its just merely bad.
I told you so.

So the anime is going to switch the Best Wishes 2 mode when the new games come out, meaning old Pokemon are going to be integrated back in somehow. I wonder if that means Ash's old Pokemon will make appearances.

I doubt they'll reintegrate the old anime series.

Wow, that was... something. So is this going to be a special thing, like the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon episodes? I would watch an entire series of that trailer.
