That's a buff, before if he took the last hit the buff wouldn't go to anyone. Unless that was fixed and i just never noticed.

So I figure a good Hecarim build order would be

Cloth 5/Boots 3 -> Sheen -> Glacial Shroud -> Upgrade boots/Phage -> Triforce -> Negatron -> FH -> FoN

So basically, make him Skarner lite.

I imagine he needs damage, but I don't know any time but late when he's allowed to get it. The boosts from boots/FoN/Trinity aren't a hell of a lot.

This looks mostly correct. My only concern is Frozen Heart and TF early might set him back because he's clearly a jungler. Those are two expensive items. I think Phreak might've been correct with the early Aegis. Altho definitely get Sheen before that.

Building him like Skarner for Q spam seems iffy to me. Skarner spam works because the q can slow.

To be honest I'll have to see the damage difference between Q and his AOE. If the AOE can clear like Shyvana can I'll be gearing him towards that. I also need to see how much his AOE heals in team fights. Spirit Visage might be handy if the heal is significant.

The AoE doesn't do enough to match the raw damage of the Q. The AoE is actually his worst ability in the jungle. It might be worth something in top/mid lane. But I kinda doubt it. Seems like he would push lanes really hard.

Yea Hecarim is Skarner 2.0 Confirmed. Just played him. Q Spam is pretty much the same. Thinking Black Cleaver might actually be a good late game item on him actually. His damage falls off hard later on. AP Ratio on W is pretty nice tho. Looked like a .8 on that.

Kog'Maw has a bug where he becomes untargetable after dying once. Still can be killed by skill shots and the like, but still...

my internet is still screwed so I'm not enjoying the Hecarim fun (thought I'm getting the double bundle don't even care, both skins are sick)

and even though I like the W buff to Kayle, I still don't see much a reason to max it first or second unless you're going support. It's nice, but E and Q just offer so much more damage potential (assuming you're going top/bot/jungle). I've played a game with a friend who did AD Kayle and shredded people with it, with her passive + black cleaver she melts tanks, I have no idea why everyone keeps saying she's bad when she's obviously good

the dude who climbed to 2300 elo with only poppy is now doing the same with kayle, dunno where he's at but maybe people will finally quit whining about her (and if they still rework her anyway I'm gonna be pissed)

0-3 now after what started out as an amazing game.

Literally participated in 12 out of our first 13 kills on jungle.


Mid and top literally argued with each other about who sucked more until the game ended because we couldn't teamfight for **** because they were arguing the entire time.

Thoughts for today

1.Teemo's bug fix was huge.I saw a lot of Teemo's today.

2.I ran into a solo top Hecarim and **** that dude top lane. Straight up terror. Max W and just sustain all day.

3.Kayle/Kog support is even better than it was before. Babysitter supreme. It did nothing for Top Lane Kayle because W is ignorable in that lane. But yeah beware of Koggie/Kayle comps. Counters that Olaf dive.


4.FD, I've been running more and more AP Nasus and I love it. My current set up is:

Magic Pen Reds/Mana Regen Yellows/Magic ResistQuints and Blues.

I rush Chalice of Harmony/Merc Treads/Catalyst and bully opposing mids. I then get WOTA because LOL hitting ult and standing inside 5 people like I'm Mordekaiser. I finish Rod of Ages and then get Spirit Visage.

It's amazing how much damage he can do with so little AP. He's like Amumu: The longer I can stay in there, the more damage I can do.

Also, does his ult proc Rylais? Please tell me it does.

I think with Chalice/Cata you can afford to hold off on Merc except against CC heavy teams.

7 rune page bundle(Potentially 2) are the only way to go. 6300 IP is too much per page and buying them individual with RP is a waste of money.

I finally bit the bullet and picked up my 2nd rune page bundle putting me up to 17 pages.

Do not regret.


I still need to set down for an hour or so, clear them all and re-organize them, but generally I can get exactly what I want no matter who i have to play now.

I'm running CDR Boots over Magic Pen just because I don't need much magic pen to do my damage. I just need the enemy slowed and stuck inside my E with my Q popping them.
